The audio engineers nailed this to perfection. With musicians like these I believe their job is easier, they kind of get great sound starting in their fingers, but still what a great mix and master.

The mix just makes the bass and drums sound so punchy and wonderful
Yeah but keep in mind that this is not what the audience heard, yet alone the musicians. This is a mix made from the soundboard output's stems and a stereo pair for ambiance after the concert, for this video. It IS an exceptional mix. And you can make a live concert sound great live. But not like this. I am a pro FOH engineer working for Yamaha Canada. You must understand the differences between : A) PA mix (front of house, or audience's mix); B) Monitor mix, or live artists' mix, that is absolutely NOT the same as the PA mix; and C) the mix made by a studio mixing engineer from the live soundboard's outputs.
If you expect a live concert to sound that precise, well, it's not possible. Unless you listen to a live performance with headphones and a genius is behind the board.

Any great sounding recording actually starts much earlier in the process. I’ve always said: great tone and balance start *not* in the fingers, but in the balls of their father - years earlier, often decades.

Don´t get me wrong, I did this stuff. But what I dig most, above all, is Jordan´s snare. The smoothest backbeat I heard in years - I´m done, folks. Brilliant.

Nice review. I experienced similar heel movement with the very minimal design. The site says to go up 1/2 size and that was accurate for me. Have you tried heel lock lacing and using the top set of holes? That should lock your heel right down. Love these shoes.
