My Only Remark about this is How Much i WANT a Panzerkampfwagon VI Tiger Ausf. B or the Konigstiger II. I dont Support nazi Politics, or Motives. But i support the Sheer Might and Power of the Nazi War Machine. it was SHEER freaking power and Technology. Only Rivaled by japans Technology. but again, German Steel in WW2 (and Today) is pretty Damn Hard to Destroy.
The concept was great, it was a good Tank, the Problem was the unreliability with the Engine and Transmission, the Armor was too soft, and the Hull could break when Hit by bigger Calibers, like the Russian 122mm, but frontally normal Shells, even the great 76mm from the Shermans had no chance of Damaging the Tank.
A very very good tank But to late to heavy not enough With the Lost of the air supirior the tanks were sitting ducks Free to Kill by planes Yours Frank
A good design tank but as someone pointed out engine and transmission problems with it. I can't remember and someone may correct me didn't the design change to feature a porsche or henschel design turret which I think gave it a better look or was that the king or royal tiger variation. Nonetheless a very good tank despite the problems. I wouldn't want to have engaged it in a sherman tank . I think a lot were assigned to waffen ss divisions predominantly and the likes of Michael wittmann were made legendary.
I'm not sure I'd ever want to crew one of those...Every other image you see of those they are destroyed, with most of the rest showing them with their suspensions collapsed under their own weight, or in some other state of disrepair.
I agree with you, but more for the fact of the high maintenance and the clumsy nature of these things. However may suggest to you to read the battle diary of Georg Diers and Karl Heinz Turk during the battle for Berlin? These 2 men were Tiger II commanders and were highly effective. But these are exceptions of course, most Tiger II's were destroyed by their own crews after breaking down.
Are you thick? Trust me i could explain to you how they very much have. Look up Chorbahm armor or the fact that the 17 pounder gun was better then the Panthers gun. And how they not only made the first tank but the first MBT. Do some more research then come back mate.
I agree in part William some of our tanks were awful mostly under gunned and poorly armoured. However I think the centurion tank wasn't it used in Korea? was a decent tank. Personally for me the German tank designs cut it. I particularly like the tank destroyer or stug 3 and the later variants of the tiger tank. But the British challenger tank is a good one with Chobham armour. Maybe through bitter experience we have learnt 🙂
true Legend, best tank and Soldiers ever
tiger 1 with its 88mm is beast do a tribute on that

Lieutenant Cross Japan's technology in ww2 was dire
No I'm not supporting the German superior technology I'm just stating the fucking obvious
Best Tank ever made - came to late
The Panther was the best tank in ww2.

Best tank in ww 2
No!
Panther was ;-)
But I still LOVE the Kingtiger - or Tiger II, which could knock out ANY allied tank without problems.
***** Than u like Jagdtiger too? Could oneshot a Is at 3000meters....Surely Jagdpanther all in all was a the best TD of WW2.
True and signed.
I wouldn't want to be in a Sherman tank against this tiger tank not with the seventy six millimeter gun
my grandpa drove this thing!
Ok interesting, in what battles did he take part?
Jan.

That was cool, ty xd.
The Tigers were too slow and too expensive. Three panthers could have been built for one tiger and the war would have been different.
schaut es Euch an ! noch nicht geblockt ! ich hasse es das wenn man die Wehracht verachtet !
Song name please? ......in English
Mars audionetwork
un solo tiger, metteva fuori combattimento 100 carri armati russi
THE BRITISH INVENTED THE TANK BUT NEVER MADE A DECENT ONE, EVEN TODAY,,
