- In December of 2023 I was able to make a bucket list trip to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and the Shanghai Disneyland Resort. Here is some footage of walking around HK Disneyland.
The audio at first is dim from the wind but clears up later in the video. This was pieced together from recordings of various parts of the park and may not reflect the typical day. It is however our first day (of two) spent in the park.

@@resortrookie sign language got my brain thinking about how accessible the parks are for people who are deaf. Like, if you were deaf- would it be challenging to understand storylines n rides? Or What if you were blind? What would you think Small World was for example without an interpreter? Would it make any sense?
Unfortunately we don’t know sign language. :( it was more like signaling! But… you’re totally right about accommodations in the parks. I know there’s two braille maps at Disneyland which is an awesome touch.
Bluegrass Frosty the snowman is the highlight here.

The fireworks show is SO pretty. They must have built the castle with projections in mind.
Oooohhhh! Fun Fact Time: The HK Castle was built exactly lie the one in Disneyland CA. This current castle is fairly new so I'd bet a lot this is true!

We were there Christmas Day and all of the employees went out of their way to wish us so. Haha!
What time of the day did you go?
There’s a story to be told where United Airlines is the villain… but we got to the park the first day around 1pm. The second day we started at the 10am opening.
Can you ride those boats at 22:00?
Sadly no. Just for show. I would have paid good $$ too!
What was the avengers ride?
There were two! The first shown was an Ant Man ride similar to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters... but WAY better! The second was an Iron Man ride similar to Star Tours... not a fan!
Does Hong Kong have a little man?
Nowhere else is as special as Disneyland!
