I think you could do roof top gardens that look like they are spilling over. To make the ivy look more intentional.
That's actually a really good idea.
Black & white tiles makes the house look like a Keystone Cops burglar. Try a sandstone stucco paint due to shape of house. For Roof patio, add 2x2 posts & double-hip roof on top

I like the ivy it gives a nice touch of color but i think a roof top garden would be awesome! As for the stripes theyre not for me personally. I think a solid black with cut pattern would like nice
At 53:16, can you duplicate the awning glasspanes and place them as sunroof. Also you can replicate the same with the vines, I guess. It would be great if we can keep the nature💐🫡🥂
the celing needs to be one layer so carve out a space where you want the window, that makes it a bit easier.
There are three types of windows in the game. They are based on how you open them.
For the roof windows you want windows that you don’t open, that is “picture windows”. The other two types are “European style” or “American style”.
I like the black and white outside, but the windows don’t match. You should probably go with non-wood windows, maybe black aluminum? The red wood and black don’t go together.
I think this could be a fun project with a lot of potential! But I should personally go with a much brighter wood floor in the house, like maybe oak or even brighter. And I LOVE the idea with big windows! Light light light!!
Also, the wooden door in the basement leading to the backyard (hihi) please make it an all glass sliding door like you did on the top floor? 🫣

black and white screams jail when laid in stripes, if you want strips get a color closer to the one you like best. vines should stay and you could put stairs from the balcany/patio and if the don't fit just extend the space

I love it when you lose track of time, G. Means you're having a ball! I want to do this house a couple of times ... once all concrete and then I think with a stone exterior. I think it would be interesting.
Presumably you already know by now, but I'll write the message for anyone reading comments (assuming no one else has said it). The "full length windows" that were cleaned by the spray & cloth rather than the squigee (and that when you put flooring down under them it was visible outside too) were not acutally windows but rather "glass walls", found in the building architecture section (they look like the glass fence, so check labels), the same is true for the sun roof/ceiling glass you were looking for. You came so close to scrolling over them, too. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the size before placing them. So you have to place them, then adjust the size before then putting them where you want them (unless they are smaller than the hole you're filling them with then you can resize them in place). They can also be a little picky with positioning when placing in a window slot, as with any object they can have different placement points. So, if you are using more than one, especially next to each other make sure they line up right in the "frame" with each other. They are great for having big glass walls, but they don't open & can sit oddly in the frame if doing them to ground level, where you have to decide if you want the same flooring as inside, outside, or a different altogether to separate it from the two. They can work great as wide but not tall high-up windows, though, if you have places you want them that they don't necessarily need to open, but want the light (perhaps up high above kitchen wall cabinets or above the top of a shower). The resizability, is an advantage for filling spaces when you can't find the window to match & don't want to have to totall reclad the outside of the house (especially when you can't get it to pick up on the matching cladding if it is faded, wor, or damaged, etc). It's only a little annoying having to first set them down free standing if they are bigger than the hole they are to fill lol. Similar with the sun roof situation.
Could you do outside stair access to the roof? You have one balcony thay has stairs to it, build some extending from it and around the corner up to the roof? You could also create a rooftop garden
I hope that in the future it will be possible for the community to create materials and decoration like what happens in The Sims 4 that we can download and we will be able to have a large library of materials to further expand our horizons and creativity

For a window in the roof, I think the term youre looking for is skylight. If you're going to have plants on the side of a wall, use a trellise.
Without one the plants will cause degradation to the walls.
For the downstairs, if the home is for a single person or couple, make it into a game room or media room.
Just a thought .. Since the house was overgrown and you like plants.. why not make it into a plant house? You wouldn’t have to go crazy with the plants but make it a botanical garden or botanic garden
If you place the outdoor trash can against the yard boundary, you can bank trash off the invisible wall and it will fall straight in.
Maybe sell all vines and clean up. Then put vines where they need to be.
Would like to see you buy a one floor house and build another floor or two or even more
The stripes are Ok but I would go with the 5 block size and just do it on main walls of the house. I face palmed when you was complaining about the lack of skylights when you passed under the skylights that was over one of the patios Grill.

Get rid of the Ivy, It's way too much. Perhaps you could replace it with a few tasteful vines scattered around, but right now it's too much and looks too invasive.

The glass above the back balcony can be used a a skylight in the roof.
I like the look of the ivy in theory, but my allergies would kill me if I lived in a house like that. Lol. I am curious if the game will count the ivy against you, though. Either way, I love the amount of work that this house takes to fix, and the white and black pattern for the outside looks cool. And of course I love the various blue paints you’re using on the inside. I like having some color in the houses. Can’t wait to see how this house looks once you’re done. 😊

I like the ivy but you messy this down some of it. Since you're wanting to go nature with it maybe a garden house? Trees, flowers, plants...❤ dunno how i feel about the stripes on the outside. Maybe front of house and then blend the colors on the sides and back? The house has layers 🙂

Keep it black and white and then put zebra wallpaper throughout the inside? It will be unified, but wild. Remember, add as MANY bedrooms as possible, it really, really raises the profit level more than anything else you can do. Try for at least 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and you should double the profits.
If you can put a ceiling light on the wall, you should be able to put a window on the ceiling.

Maybe knock out the border on the roof so water can flow out.
Dont leave the vines. And also u do things so chaotically it just scares me a bit 😂 maybe u can do room by room ( finish one room and than go to another, also keeps the suspence on what will be in the next room). I cant keep up with it 😂. Other than that. Keep up with the great videos.

There are definitely pieces that some of the house have that you can’t build yourself. I’ve seen long beams and molding as we;l as triangle pieces and skylights. I think it may be available in free build but why not in the main game?
You can duplicate these items if they are already present. You may be able to duplicate that glass above the back door and use it to make a skylight.

Not sure, you didnt make it your office by accident? I was super sleepy working on the duck house and did that and was super confused when I loaded to record and was there already. But thatd be the only thing I could think besides a bug

In my opinion is to take all the vines off the house clean and minimalistic but that's just me also doing the outside of the house with the split color looks really nice something really different enjoying the content and looking forward to even more episodes.

When will you play the front and its only money again
The front a bit, save got corrupted is why it stopped and till major changes happen dont want to do it all again. Only money just did way to bad by the end so probably closer to full release

Just not what I picture when I first saw the house. Pretty much every house, once I look around, I have an image in my mind for what i see for the house
Please finish one room first. I think you are overwhelmed with the size of the house. I suggest you focus first on a room like the entry way. Finish that. Then kitchen. Finish that. Living room. Finish that. In the 1 hr of this video, you did not actually finish ANY ROOM.
