Should get yourself a ZWB2 filter for it. Only a few bucks on the site that rhymes with b-day. The difference in fluorescence visibility of a wide variety of items is complete night and day when you cut out the undesirable visible light emission of the UV chip with the filter. Also instead of the yellow goggles, which ruin color vision, you can use a pair of clear polycarbonate goggles to completely block 365 radiation and observe the complete visible light spectrum of fluorescence for the object you are examining. This is particularly useful for fluorescent minerals. Handsome AF bro. .....Would. 😏😉
I feel so silly for not knowing the site you're referencing with the bday rhyme haha. Thanks for all the tips though. Definitely grabbing some new goggles.
@@IllinoisDailyCarry if you actually use the name then yt will instadelete the comment. 😒 here it is backwards: yabe An additional tip: if you have any 395-400nm violet / near UVA lights, you can "clean" that light too using blue cobalt glass and polycarbonate goggles with an additive that blocks even more UV while still remaining clear. I've found the goggles by "UVP" and the "Blokz" blue blocking glasses by Zenni have this additive. The different materials and colors excited by different wavelengths of UV are really interesting!
@@IllinoisDailyCarry Tenebris crystallio expectum! 🧙🪄 🤣🤣 Why can't I find a chill bro into nerdy shit like you in real life? haha. I would live happily ever after. Oh by the way, if you want to get into some REALLY crazy nonsense lookup "Sakowuf Solutions" he can get you down to deep 254nm UVC in an Convoy L6 host that's a genuine cancer ray. I have one and it's awesome.
This one is new to me so thanks for sharing
How are we so late to the party?
Sweet !!!
I have been thinking of getting a dedicated larger UV light... This will fit that bill quite nicely.
Now I'm plotting how to build out a bunch of different S2 setups.
@@IllinoisDailyCarry Excellent. I look forward to seeing the results !
Nice review 👍

@@Muonium1 Talk nerdy to me. This is all so cool. Am I going to turn into a geode dude?
