My personal view on wearing items from other cultures is that if you do it with the right intent and respect its fine. If you were wearing stuff to try and look Chinese that wouldnt be cool, but celebrating the beautiful clothing by wearing it in your own way is fine. It also showcases different cultures and histories that allow us to grow creatively.
"looking chinese" isnt a thing. clothes are just clothes...u cant LOOK chinese u can either BE CHINESE or NOT BE CHINESE. clothes do not define a chinese person...so wear whatever u want.
Great haul! Just a FYI for the red kimono you showed - it‘s not called kimono but yukata and the „tear“ is supposed to be this way so it‘s not broken or anything 😊 just can wear it as it is

I would love to do a house tour but I want it to be more decorated! I really want to paint and all that jazz and then I’ll definitely do one. Although I’m super blessed with good storage here so idk how helpful any tips I have would be. I’m kinda spoiled rn with the closet situation! Thanks for the love!

The kimono tear is probably not a tear but intentional. Check if the other armpit has it too. Kimono's often have open armpit area's.
