@@comahtek7496 Pex-al. The pipe... pex(tipe of plastic) -al (aluminium) insert. This tipe of pipe resist in my house 18 years. Was made by HENCO Germanh. Now I find only China Pex-al low cost, low quality. Iff you make a bend, in 2 years will leak. Nice job in the film.
@@Lombardini490 I was working on a project an year ago here in London and we used al pex, whatever it's called with pressfit/crimp fittings and it was exactly Henco. I also had a project with the same type of pipe, this time it was Viega. So yeah, they still produce it mate
@@nikitagm5015 With this type of pipe, the joints are the problem. Press fintings are cheaper, thinner and, in my opinion, safer. Now cheap and flexible is the PPR, but rough. Copper is thin and can be beautiful to look at if it is painted and has the most options: the soft curved, the hard: crimped, soldered or brazed (T, Cross, L: 90°, 45°, 15°) and more.

As you said PPR is rough, soooo rough that I turn my head whenever I see or have to work with PPR, so ugly not gonna lie, easy to work with tho and don't really need much of a skill, just perfect timing and some common knowledge, more of a DIY to me... Only thing I don't agree with is painting copper. Now I'm not saying changing the colour is a bad idea, you can even get talon sleeves (there's other brands I guess). It's just that I love copper and it's natural colour, I personally would never paint it lol
The definition of insanity is repeating steps expecting a different outcome. Technically, all scientists are insane. And they need to be, to make proofs. Plumbers, however, are not insane. They figure out how to offer a service, and aim to get every job done in 2 hours, and earn a very nice take-home pay. If they could figure out how to lobby the govt to stop income taxes on wages, and make the govt have only taxes on investment profits, they'd be forever heroes.
Wish my local council would do qaulity work like this we got shitty opened holes in our floor radiators that are bled but dnt produce much heat and a 50p shitty boiler thats maxed out even tho its new and is absolutely shit....
