I love this theme for so many reasons. It kinda got a vibe of a sanctuary of learning, a holy ground of knowledge. You don't only study here to know more about stuff, you do so that you can transend the limitations of what a person can do. The religious undertone here is amazing!
This song is VERY Civ-like in a way with the fact that you ARE building a nation of your own. Your own people and supporters following you through various scientific breakthroughs to become the best king there is. The song is meant to be somber and uplifting at the same time because being a ruler is very difficult, but your people are there to see your vision come through.
Sir Thomas More once famously wrote the novel Utopia, which described the ideal politics of an island nation. He opposed both the protestant revolution, and King Henry's schism from the Catholic church. He was then executed for his refusal to take the Oath of Supremacy to the Church of England.
Holy shit, very fascinating to know where they took the inspiration from. Couldn't be a coincidence that the Protagonist's canon name "Will" is from William Shakespeare, right?
@@theguudknight It's more likely he's named after William The Conquerer since in other langauges his name changes to reflect another legendary king (Russuan is Alex, Portugese is Pedro, etc)
@@pidgethikawa4006 didn’t More mentioned that he was slained (or executed) by the King? It would explain why he appears in ghost form in the protag’s world and unseen by everyone except him and Gallica
I be trying to listen to More monologue to me about the importance of bonds and the will of the people and then his choir kicks in at 1:06 and I can't hear anything anymore.
Ah, here we go again... Velevet Room theme all over 😅😅 ""Welcome to the Akademia. A place that exists between dream and reality. Mind and Matter... ... ... I am More, master of this place. Remember it well..."
The MC is the MC from persona 3. More is Kamiki from P3 too. The book is a fantasy of our world if it didn't have all the problems we have. A mere fantasy. Just think what if what we learn about death is a lie and when we all die we end up being born or awaken in a world that is what we only dreamed of. A world that we maybe have read about in a fantasy book or seen on shows or just a short films. What if our world is also one of those fantasies and when we born our souls are from another world where the fantasy of what we dream is real. We could of been or be the hero or villain of someones story. if this was true I could just imagine the stories we could tell and to add our current lives to the list. sorry for the ramble
I like the comparison. Kamiki and More are both authors. But while More writes about a world of infinite possibilities, a fantasy about another world which no problems exists as you said, Kamiki is the opposite, he wrote a story about accepting fate and realizing the meaning of life in our own world in the midst of all hardships and problems we face
My problem with this is that it’s becomes too much in the end that I can’t make out what they are saying when it’s here @ 0:31 it sounds like singing kids in North Korea working in a factory and then it switches up to a loud trump for president campaign theme
This song makes me feel like I can accomplish anything
Maybe you should state your full name and scream your resolve at a metallic heart, that'll probably give you a real life buff
Me too. I felt like I was doing something very heroic even when the only thing I'm doing is looking aimlessly at the menus.
If they played this at my academia I might have accomplished something
Welcome to the Academia. Place between dream and reality, mind and matter. My name is More, it's nice to meet you...

So far my favourite song in the game + the JP VA being DIO makes it all better
This music is like a hug for me, so comforting
What'd I give to see a live performance of this
Mfs are CRAZY if they expect me to start the game after they put this ost as ps5 version home screen soundtrack 🤡
it helped pass the time while I waited for the demo to install lol
I love how this theme is reminiscent of The Velvet Room while being just different enough to stand out (especially that heroic refrain)
I have no idea but this theme feels like it captures an insane amount of themes, it's beautiful.
This is My Acamadia... For you, a Hero... I think I'll call it...
Does this sound like a hymn?
Yes, reminded me of when I had to go to catholic school for two years as a kid lol
What if Shoji Meguro composed for a Civilization game.
Holy shit. This does sound like something from civs. Lol
Civilization 6 main theme literally.
That's....the best way i can describe this too. Oh my god. Either if Meguro composed for Civ or Christopher Tin doing music for a Fantasy RPG 😄
Welcome to the Vel-er, Akademia halls

Honestly, I think the Velvet Room Theme is kinda overrated… this one on the other hand: just majestic
This game is going to be something magical, I can tell

Well shit...they actually made a theme just as good (if not better) than the Velvet Room and Cathedral of Shadows. I'm honestly shocked.
Thanks doc.
