That, to me sounds like the absolute worst character. I know all of this because the "fu*k it" character has another name. A troll.
Read/watch Stuck in an Otome Game. The MC stopped worrying about maintaining the main story after a few volumes and things just get even more wild as it goes on. A good read, but it is a Manga.
I love this MC for the simple fact that he never simps over any of the girls. In to many of these the girls will disrespect or abuse the MC, but the MC will still swoon after the females, looking pathetic. This MC doesn't take any disrespect. Ed is absolutly an Alpha.

I'm confused on why the MC didn't try to sell the fancy shit he had for some survival gear, like that gold cup probably could have bought him most of what he needed for camping.
Highly recommend this if you want good narrative, good characters, likeable MC, and great pacing. Chapters are long and the pacing is great that you don't feel unsatisfied everytime you reach the end of the chapter. There's barely any fluff at all and there's always plot progressions or meaningful developments every chapter.
