If you’re talking song of the year in terms of like MAMA, EXO and SM artists aren’t going to be attending. Several charts admitted to manipulating sales the past couple years so EXO couldn’t win, and MNet is one of the biggest culprits. Guys the video has SO much more meaning than you see at first glance, there are not only hidden references to legends like Michael jackson or daftpunk, but literally every scene hides a symbolic reference to exos main concept. EVERYTHING exo does is connected to one main story, its sooo cool! Just wanted to note that, in case anyones curious :)

Because of the China ban on the Korean Wave (KPOP, KDrama Korean pop culture) he wasn't able to perform in the Korean version, just cameo. The Chinese release he has a bit more time but still unable to perform. He only recently came back to Korea after China had lifted some of the restrictions.
I highly recommend a first listen, too! The album is fucking amazing.
