You might want to look into getting to be his healthcare proxy/medical proxy with his mother and Climer's permission so that you can make medical decisions for him quickly in an emergency. You guys might want to check with a lawyer on that from now on. Things like this make you question everything and what you can and cannot do. He will be alright. God is good. Prayers for Mercy

Colaz, that is universal, no matter where you are. A consent is required leagally for any underaged child bedore any procedure. Even adults have to sign before the procedure. Everybody is scared of liabilities. Trust me, it sounds more scary than it is. Most people go home the same day after an endoscopy, barring bleeding, fever, etc. He'll pull through. Hold tight!

What a sad situation.
These ppl run the hospital without a care in the world like the patients are not human beings. This kind of incompetence and lack of empathy needs attention so the world can see how things are run in that place. Where are the professionals? So what if he was dying ? Climber don’t fret, this is a very simple procedure that if done by a competent surgeon, will be quick and painless.
Now, about this hospital - it is a disgrace that my island Home that is so beautiful and progressing so quickly, does not have proper protocols in place for a major Emergency Department of the main hospital in town. It’s time to fast forward proper care to patients. This was hard to watch. Big up to you Colaz for your dedication and friendship. I hope Hospital administrators must provide up to date protocols for the benefit of all people who enter their doors. After all much donations in the way of money, technology and machinery have been donated to that medical community by Jamaicans in the diaspora to ensure prompt and quality care can be provided.
