How can these types of guys so confidently shout to the world that they can’t fathom seeing women as anything but a means to sex. It’s such a boomer view point.
@@gardenstate732 I'm glad I don't get it. What a shitty way to look at the world, thinking that you're not allowed to be friends with the opposite gender without fucking. Same type of people to say men are gay if they cry.
What do you think any type of relationship is based on? Every relationship human beings form is based upon mutual gain in one way or another. However seeing how braindead most American woman have become in the past 20 years I can’t blame most men for thinking that way. Tis’ truly a modern cultural tragedy.
I know it's comedy and I must not be fun at parties and yada yada, but holy crap, do men really not see any value in women if it's not for their own romantic satisfaction?
Case by case of course. But you have to understand, people befriend others because they like the benefits of having them as friends, and if they look good, that also usually means they would like the benefits of having them as bf/gf as well. So the better looking you are, you are less likely to find people who "only" like you as a friend. So either ugly+ugly and make true friends, ugly+goodlooking to make 1 repressing feeling for other and faking to be friend, or goodlooking+goodlooking which can turn sexual if they want to.
@@jiwoos19 I don't think it's that formulaic. If you're good looking, yeah, it's normal people will approach you with more of those romantic intentions. However, my thing is many men, like this dude, say, "why would I want female friends?" Like, being friends with women can make you so much better in so many ways. If I, as a girl, only had female friends, I'd be missing so much on perspective and empathy for the opposite gender. I have very dear male friends that I know for a fact are just platonic and will remain so. Anyway, if any of this didn't make sense, I'm too sleepy to check.
@@erickalena i agree w this ngl, I feel like a lot of ppl will genuinely just feel no empathy for groups they’re not a part of unless they can either invision themselves in that group’s situation, or if they form connections w ppl in those groups. female friends treat eachother occasionally without it meaning anything. if you see a gift or treat as an investment into sex like this comedian assumes, you're a freak and a bad friend but there's no way she or other women could read their mind and know they are viewing it as such, despite knowing they're only friends
@@UnBesoDeCristal I think it’s more complicated than your saying sometimes a friend can buy a friend something with no extra motive but other times people can give a gift without “expecting sex” but trying to instigate a more romantic relationship, I don’t think that’s necessarily creepy.
Look I don’t allow my guy friends to buy me stuff because expectations occur. There have been a few occasions my friends male or female has paid for me because they wanted me to go. They tell me my limit and I respect that. I would be pissed too if some stranger interjected himself in my otherwise healthy friendship to make me look like I’m a villian or stringing along my friend. On the other hand, if he and she had a conversation on the way back and she realized that all he wanted was to date after she explicitly said she didn’t want to date him, I get it. No clue how clear you can be with a guy and tell them you aren’t into dating or you don’t like them romantically and they think it’s a game of wits and folds. Like we are playing hard to get. It’s annoying af.

Guys, serious piece of advice: when I wanted to be with the woman that I ended up marrying, I didn’t hide behind pretense. I made my intentions known. Don’t throw yourself in the friend zone at the onset, be a contender. If she’s not into you, then cut your losses and move on.
Real men in my opinion are up front. Why resent her and feel like a “nice guy” when you can make your individual clear and if you’re truly a nice guy you’d respect her for whatever choice she makes with all the information she is given. Don’t say no big deal if it’s a big deal.
He should be straight up with how he feels. He shouldn’t pretend like he just wants to be her friend. Pretending to be someone’s friend when you really just have other feelings for them can be hurtful to both.
The guy can’t show it any clearer she playing around with feelings, she’s a woman and not insensitive to the man’s mannerisms to her, in other words someone playing fiddle while the other is dancing.
I want to see the real person though, and you see that in a friend. Friend to couple is good IMO. I mean if you can't be a friend to your woman, there's something wrong there. It's like wearing a mask or playing a role, being fake. Also, you dodge girls who date for free meals and fun, not human connection.
Lmfao yeah okay good luck getting that one to work. You walk up to a girl and let her know you find her attractive without becoming friends first and she’ll most likely tell you you’re a creep or ignore you unless you’re just really confident and attractive, which most guys aren’t. Guys become friends with girls because they have to in order to get laid.
It doesn't matter if he wants more from her, he's not entitled to anything if she's not interested. If he goes out with her hoping that one day he can get laid then he can stop wasting both his and her time. He's neither a good friend or good boyfriend material
Who said he felt entitled? As far as we know he's just taking her out to a comedy show. In the case he's hoping to get laid then the woman is just as faulty for leading him on in favor of getting free tickets lmfao.
@@UnBesoDeCristal those female friends aren't attracted to each other the same way a boy and girl are.

Garentee he has tried telling her and she friendzoned him anyways. Happends quite often these days so im not entirely surprised
100% right
It doesn't matter if he wants more from her, he's not entitled to anything if she's not interested.

The comedian knew, the whole room knew, the guy knew, yet she's playing blind? She's enabling this shit and you know it.
