Are electric cars quicker? Why do they run gas? Honest question.
speed around the track is similar...but you would only get about 10min out of a battery charge before it runs out. takes way to long to swap out a battery vs. a few seconds to refill a tank.

Electric is faster and easier to manhandle around the track. Nitro gets the glory bc the world champion of 1/8 nitro buggy is the RC champion of the world in every class due to its overshadowing of all other forms of RC racing. The nitro gets the glory bc they can hold much longer 1hr finals and that’s how all serious races take place.
45-60min nitro racing. Thats not to say ebuggy and even e truggy don’t have their places. There’s an electric European worlds and E-nats..plus E classes at most every big race
Too bad Mayfield is a crybaby.
