I lived in California for 7 years. Ocean Avenue was pretty often part of my life there. Hanging in Santa Monica with my friends, driving around that area, just feeling the vibe of it. I know the song isn’t about that place, tho usually people associate with it. For me, every time I hear it somehow brings me back. It’s special. Thanks Yellowcard for such a beautiful tune. Parsons was an amazing drummer, nobody could touch his rhythm and dynamics with Yellowcard, they should bring him back!
