      Have you tried, The Brain? I heard of it for the first time today and am in the process of deciding between where to start between Evernote, Notion, and The Brain

    Notion does not have an offline mode and is therefore not suitable as an application for taking notes (IMO)

    • @josephmclord
      @josephmclord Рік тому +4

      For me, if the application doesn’t have a proper notebook system, it can never work as a note taking app.

    I became frustrated with Obsidian & Notion, then I got Upnote, which I love so far.

      why was that? Is it too hard to wrap your head around? Im undecided.

      @@xevenau --I kept reading about people losing their notes in Notion. I've gotten a little more used to Obsidian. If you want something hard to wrap your head around, try Anytpe or Capacities. These are examples of object-based note taking. Very hard for me to get used to these.

    I'm using remnote but most of the time, the app is too buggy. I really like writing in remnote but at that same time, I want to use project management tool as well. If I go to notion, I will miss out the portal function in remnote, which I often use it. What do you suggest? Using both the app or stick with any one ??

    Notion with the AI assistant is an essential tool for me, I can have the AI format the text, translate, create tables, it saves a ton of time, and the sharing is great.

      I stopped using obsidian as it lacks bi-directional linking. Moved to logseq since 3 months , its very good in bi-directional linking and outliner is natively build.
      Its very helpful for linking ideas in logseq compared to obsidian.

      @@MultiSamSami No bro, logseq is not slow. Its normal like obsidian. I am using it since more than 3 months and never experienced any slowness. Yeah, please try, its a very simple app and bi-directional linking of blocks is super for studying and linking ideas. Bi-directional linking is natively build in logseq, no plugins needed. Hope you will like it.

      @@RameshKumar-ng3nf Okay I downloaded it, I think I'm way too used to obsidian at this point and I have 1250 pages and the images I put in don't show in logseq. But it seems good tbh

      @@MultiSamSami Great to know 👍. Yeah, images wont show, we need to freshly paste it again. I understand , even i faced the image problem when i moved from obsidian to logseq.
      But dont worry, it is a one time effort. Later on you will enjoy working with it 😊. If you wanted to learn more on logseq , there is a nice YT channel - OneStutteringMind , he shares lots of good lessons . You can have a look whenever you get time. Enjoy working with logseq.😊
