I was born in Grik (but left the town since 1977), it is about few kilometers away from Ayer Kala. Visited the Wat Luang Poh Tuad Ayer Kala 2 years ago. In the Buddhist Abhidhamma records, the meditators possess supernatural abilities and clairvoyant or 'siddhi' when one reached certain stages of jhana (Zen) towards the stage of Arahant. Like seeing one's past lives, communication with other beings, passing through the walls, multiple appearances at different locations etc. However, the main purpose of the spiritual cultivation is to release the cycle of rebirth/suffering. In my opinion, Luang Poh Tuad was an Arahant. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu.
