  • We implement the dynamic overset grid capability into OpenFOAM and use the technique to perform the simulations of ship hydrodynamics with moving rudders and propellers.

    One of the best simulations I've seen.

    Is there any alternative to the SUGGAR, possibly openSource ?

    Very cool indeeed! is there any chance to get one's fingers onto the code?

    Is it possible to simulate and calculate the hydrodynamic pressure on the front of the boat?

    hello, my name is reza, i'm from Indonesia
    i like your simulations,
    if i may help to you, for give me a way how you do to make this simulation from start until finish?
    thank you

    Hello , really Nice simulation .
    I am a student from Brazil and my conclusion work is about predict the resistance curves of a hull (First I am trying with one model of Series 60 in one velocity), and I want to know If I could talk to you about simulations on OF, It would really help me.
    Since then, thank you!

    Excellent work!

    Thanks for your video :)
    In OpenFOAM, I want to run the solver multiPhase/interFoam/RAS/floatingObject but by default it runs with a cuboid body, I have a cylindrical body in .stl format and I want to use it as a floating object.
    How can I do this? I have been able to insert the cylindrical mesh in blockMesh by using snappyHexMesh, but how can I use the cylinder as a floating object? Thanks if someone can help me out, I am doing a univerisity project

Suerte
