I'm glad they eventually got together and officially added Jia as part of the official band after like 20 years of treating him as a contract bassist and not a part of the band
There is a road called Parkway Drive in California Bay Area a friend of mine lived on that street. We always had an inside joke whenever we ordered pizza to his place we would shout DELIVER MEEEEEE when the pizza guy showed up lol
My only regret is not discovering Parkway earlier in life. I've been listening for a few years now, finally got to see the epic live gig at Knotfest Melbourne and faaaaark!! I get goosebumps every time I relive those moments. The best!!!
First heard parkway drive back in 2006, I was 12 years old on the school bus and a girl I liked pulled out her portable cd player and played Killing With a Smile. That was my first introduction to metalcore and I've been hooked ever since. I miss those days, time goes by way too fast.
Do it dude. I'm a 67 yr old grandmother who loves tf out of Parkway Drive as well as tons of deathcore bands. I've seen Parkway several times and going to see them next month as well.
Man I would absolutely love a fresh remaster of Killing with a smile and horizons with today's insane production capability. Those albums with darker still production would just make me fall in love all over again
I can't say I've been a fan of their newer music, but I can say I've always been a fan of the people on the stage. Humble, great, people who just wanna see the world and surf. Rewatching this after not seeing it for many years seems like a nice way to start my lazy day.
I’m 34, from Wisconsin USA and feel so blessed to have been able to see you guys live twice. Once with Bring Me The Horizon in 2011 and again with Killswitch Engage in 2019. Favorite fucking band. Forever ♥️
Jeff and Luke, you 2 are the whole reason I picked up a guitar back in 2005, and it was the greatest gift for my mind I could've ever been given. I would've never thought to play it had it not been for you guys
@@xflofyx That's where I'm at with it. Plenty of other bands who have managed to evolve and mature without turning into boomer rock lol. I understand that they are making crazy better money than with their old style, but it just sounds very uninspired.
@Maximiliano Paredes I literally saw them yesterday, I dunno why people keep saying they are arena rock now, the set they played consisted of old and new, he still screams and they still have blast beats and breakdowns. Honestly I have no idea where this illusion of them being a softer arena dad rock band has came from, because it's simply not true
This and the "home is for the heartless" DVD is what I used to watch towards the end of college when I was running out of inspiration and hope. Usually right before finals week I would especially watch the home is for the heartless DVD to get full boost of energy back into my spirit. Thanks for that guys, still love y'all despite the 180 change in your style
Saw them in London last year with While She Sleeps and Lorna Shore, was the best night of my entire life. Safe to say I brought a sunday Download ticket just to see these boys again, this band saved my life. And I will always be grateful for their music, keep on rocking guys ❤🔥
My favourite band of the last 18 years! Nothing compares to the initial feeling and now memory of hearing “It’s hard to speak without a tongue” for the first time. I was fucking hook, like and sinker from the first listen!!
Can't believe it's been 20 years hey. Distinctly remember my two first introductions to Parkway. Playing in Gympie alongside Amity and then in Toowoomba at the little Shack Youth Centre on Chalk Drive next to the skate park, headlining for my mates band Mary Magdalene in like... Jeez, 2006? You guys popped in super briefly to the afterparty that evening and was an absolute pleasure. 20 years of absolutely amazing tunes! Keep smashing it ❤
It's crazy how I'm not even a fan of their music but I've seen this documentary at least several times over the past decade just because despite them not being my style, they're an awesome band and an awesome bunch of guys.
I still have my signed killing with a smile poster when you guys came to my town for the first time in 2006. (; You guys and Bmth will always be my top favorites. #AussiMetal!
I remember lining up at kill the music in brisbane to get the band to sign this dvd when it came out. then walking over to riverstage to watch them play. such a good time in my life
I F***ing love this Band .. since the first time !! can't wait to see these guys again. !! and next time maybe with my first Son .. he loves your Music too .. he is 4y old !!
Damn Horizons gives me goosebumps, ive been listening to you guys in Texas for a solid 10 years and i love every album which says a lot because it's not common for me to find a group that produces that much bad ass music.
I love everything about this band. Feeling blessed that I saw that I have been able to see them just recently at Knotfest in Brisbane. Thanks for being and staying real, PWD! 💯🤘🏼
From my friend playing Flesh Bone & Weakness on his flip phone in highschool and falling in love to what this band has become today is completely unreal. Seeing them live was a dream come true, the best band on the planet!
I found a lot of inspiration in everything they do, I love their music and have enjoyed it for many years. Parkway Drive thank you very much for that, for existing
I love how pie is in a death grip against the roof but smiling like he’s having the time of his life. Self promoting, sleeping on the ground, a band at brother’s. Can’t wait to see you live again.
Warped tour was when I fell in love with this band. They played last on the main stage in STL and I heard them prior, but the fact they sound basically the same live is amazing. Almost 14 years I've listened to this band
I watched this doc like 1000 times when it first came out. Will always be my all time favorite band. I tear up listening to this album, takes me down memory lane. I was at what I believe was your first ever show in the states at the Marquis in Denver, CO.... there was maybe 75 people there. Will never forget.
The first and only time I saw them live was during their 2013 North American Tour with Veil of Maya and The Word Alive. One of the best shows I've ever been to ❤
Seen them last autumn in Luxembourg. After the concert, while leaving the place, the crowd started singing wild eyes. Was so wild and I just can recommend experiencing this energy yourself. Go to a concert if you have the chance!
Absolutely amazing! I wish I found you guys from the early days to now! I found you about 5 years now and Im always mind blown! Great documentary! You make some of my most favorite music! I hope you guys stay around for a very long time! Much love fellas!
Saw you guys the other week when i travelled to Melbourne {even though i live closer to Sydney - just because why not, something different] at Knotfest for the first time with my wife, saw slipknots first concert at the hodern pavilion in Sydney in 2000 as a 19yo and seen them 2 other times since, was more going for you guys and you did not disappoint, i think i speak on behalf of everyone in Australia when i say you were the headliner of Knotfest {with no disrespect at all to Slipknot}, Can't wait to see you guys on your next HEADLINING tour of OZ!!!
P.S please bring back IN FLAMES with you, so i can hear Alias live, and also Soilwork if u can manage, A Parkway Drive, In flames, Soilwork tour of Australia would be a sellout Stadium tour im sure of it
It makes my heart swell seeing how far y’all have come. The DEDICATION. Seeing y’all play in small venues to now sharing the stage with Slipknot and headlining at festivals. Each and every one of y’all are absolute. FUCKING. LEGENDS. CARRY ON Edit: I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND. THEY ARE THE BEST BAND EVER. PERIOD!
32 from MA. I started listening when KWAS was released I think in 05-06. I was going into what would of been my freshman year of HS. Let me tell you it is my most favored era of coming up in life with this music especially with Horizons. I graduated 09 and still look back on it being in a band straight out of school, I miss those years more than anything. The music coming out then was simply the best.
Hell yeah!! So awesome to see fellow Aussies making it with a fuck load of hard work and dedication... damn inspiration that anything is possible if you put your all into it 🤘🤪🤘 Also albury show was siiicck ASF!!! CHEERS 👍
Will forever be grateful for Parkway bringing Himsa on tour in Australia. Great band for those that haven't heard them. Broken up now but check out their album Summon in Thunder.
You toured Tooowoomba, QLD soon after Horizons. I ended up on stage, arms around Winston, singing Carrion with my mates and the band. One of my fondest memories.

Agreed. I have a rip of the original still saved of this dvd from like 10 years ago or something cool they put it out for free remastered

What happened to that girl? You guys ever got together?
I think I might share this with my parents, as I think it will honestly help them understand the affinity and love I have for this band.

I still can’t believe that my small country Hungary is in this documentary. It means it played some role in their journey. Love you guys! ❤

Deep Blue sounds so slobbery, that album I‘d like to see remastered 🤩
There will never be a band that can top these guys feel, the surfer metalcore scene was the best🫡

Holy fuck, that 2011 tour was insane.

I was on their show in Kyiv, 2013
