The Godin guitars have an unmistakable tone. I have a Seagull S6 Original that I love and the wear on it proves it. I love it that they use wood grown on their own property. It's a strummer, not all that articulate, but it booms with a very rich sound.
That's a beautiful sounding guitar, Doyle! It certainly sings but it's also being played by a master. Your picking, chord voicings and arrangements are outstanding. Too fast to pick up ideas but certainly appreciate your skills. Thanks for posting and love your new Godin. I have to check them out.
UA-cam has a Slowdown feature, you can slow it down several times to almost barely moving without changing the pitch, Google how to use it, it will change your life
My uncle Donnie used to ride the tour busses back in the days of the traveling gospel quartets. Doyle was in their group and my uncle said that all day ,and every waking hour Doyle had a guitar in his hands playing constantly. He is proof that the old proverbial saying that practice makes perfect rings true.

I remember seeing Doyle at a Taylor clinic, about twenty years ago in England, he made every guitar sound great, one of the best acoustic players out there.

I have, and love, the all hog version of the fairmount. Was my first Godin and I love it so much I got a bass (Dorchester 4) very shortly after. I'm sure some will disagree but I think the all hog fairmounts compete with 000-15's (that are about double the price in Canada).

Not sure if your Martin would fit. You could call one of the guys at Huber Breese Music. They sell both brands.

Warm and full sounding!! Is it about dreadnought size?
It's a smaller bodied Concert Hall size in comparison to a dread. I own one and it's really comfortable to play with its thinner depth.
