Hi, Sandi! Wow! Your cards are always so gorgeous! I absolutely love black cardstock and that hot foil background is so beautiful! You're awesome, lady! 💜💜💜
I love Altenew's keyhole system. It makes layering so easy and fun! Great card. I've never used magicals before but it's definitely on my list of "have to try that!!"
Craft A Flower sets are some of my favorite Altenew products! You’ve created some lovely papers with the Lindy’s Magicals and Nuvo pigments! Awesome idea!
thanks for the tutorial on creating your own colored card stock - looks like so much fun - the results are amazing with the curled petals and the splatters:)
Gorgeous teal flower, my favorite color as well! I love the star tulip die set ! I'm not into hot foiling yet but love the great sentiments set with dies. Thanks for the inspiration, the card is amazing!
What a fabulous die set! I really enjoyed the way you did the background and the finished flowers are gorgeous when an interesting paper is used for cutting them out. Thanks for the inspiration 😊🦋
What beautiful cards! I really enjoyed watching you create your water color paper. And the background is stunning. Thanks for the great teaching and inspiration.
Absolutely stunning card, a real work of art. Now the powder you used are they like colour burst powders I always end up with a hot mess. Thank you Sandi for sharing.
I really love this hop, the products are fantastic! Everyone loves this real color, I think I've fought it, but it's just so gorgeous! Lol I kept thinking that the tulips were peonies! Lol Really nice techniques and super creations Sandi! 😍💕
I really love your cards. I have never used those powder before. I wasn't sure how it worked. Thanks for showing us how. Now I can get some and try it. I'm loving this Hop; I am getting so many ideas for my own cards.
Stunning card! The background is beautiful but I haven't jumped on the foiling wagon yet. Had to laugh when you talked up how very stuck the dies were to the packaging! Sometimes I worried some of the little dies would get bent when I was tryin to pull them off lol! I do also LOVE the keyhole or arrow they provide on their layering dies so that they are so easy to know exactly where/how each layer goes.
I know right? that tape is crazy sticky and I have bent dies getting them off of there. The keyhole system is genius as far as I'm concerned, such a little thing, but with HUGE benefits
Your cards are just stunning. I have a love/hate relationship with my glimmer hot foiling machine and it's mostly hate...lol. My machine base is so hard to remove that even though I tape things down I still end up with over foil, skipped foil, etc. I have so many glimmer plates but I don't use them as never have much success with any of them. I have a couple press plates I bought when seeing how beautifully they seem to work in the Glimmer machine so I guess I best give them a try...yours came out just beautiful. I also have several bottles of Nuvo shimmer powders that I keep wondering why I bought them and what I am to do with them...now I know. Duh. Hard being old these days. lmao Thank you for sharing your creativity...helps to get me out of my box as I am on the older side at 75.
haha, I hear you about getting old, I'm 67 and things are just not what they used to be. with your Glimmer Hot Foil Machine, lift the handle up very gently about 1/2 inch, and then pull it out. Same with putting it back in, it needs to go in and out on a slight angle to release the pins. And, now you can go and play with your Shimmer powders, LOL. Have fun with them, they are very magical
What a winning combination - Altenew & Lindy's Magicals! Love the color!❤️
thank you Myra
At first I thought this process was tedious, but the final outcome was certainly worth it!
