I do not understand how elderly relatives( Parents and Aunts) have the right to tell their grown children who they can marry or love. what happened between the Aunt and Mother are only between them. Pao and Huong had nothing to do with it. sometimes i wish they would just stand up to them. It is a very toxic situation for the young couple . they are in love and very happy. they are adults and need to make their own decisions right or wrong. We learn from both right and wrong choices that is how we become better people.
