    Clouds play an important role in keeping our water supply from dropping too low,the more rain,the less likely there is to be a drought.
    Also,if it is Summer time and the whole sky is covered with thick clouds all day,it will keep the air cool and stop the air temperature from rising too high and stop winter nights from being too cold.

      Yes and Cumulonimbus clouds is the king of clouds and produces thunderstorms,huge amounts of rainfall, hailstones,gusty winds and even Tornadoes
