    Love this! We are not on a time limit on this. I know we all want to get back to our lives. But we are here for a reason, because of an imbalance we caused ourselves. I say be here fully. This is our chance to really set the record straight, to change our lives for the better. Be present and do the work. Otherwise you just have to repeat the lesson in Earth school.

    brilliant, it makes perfect sense. the exhilaration periods are my biggest krytonite. getting so excited and going opshopping, decorating my house or just generally doing too much physical creative things when im peaking. i used to be an artist and have adhd so it makes sense 😅 but i believe at a certain point in recovery, a creative outlet, and when done correctly, it can be that thing that keeps us in balance. ive started sketching again, just a few hours a week, sometimes in my recliner. it gives me that spark of life, without needing to turn my loungeroom around and spending the next month in bed. if balance is yin and yang, and yin is non action and yang is action, drawing is my action. i need both, i need them to be active simultaneously (or atleast reactivating every couple of days) to stay balanced. if creativity dies in our minds, so too will it die in our cells. if you think of creativity as life, light, spark, spirit, hope. thats my thoughts, anyway.

      I like the way Rick Hanson teaches how to build the good emotions. He has free classes, podcasts, YT videos and resources on his website. He also has weeks-long classes you can purchase, and books, too. He's not a Buddhist, but he uses Buddhist principles. It's not a religion and you don't have to study Buddhism; just learn to spend more of our time in calm, compassionate, grateful, loving emotions.

    I have Long Covid, the "mild" form of it... But it's quite bothersome and veeery annoying. As soon as I stand up, I feel "weighed down" as if there were a ton of bricks holding me down. There's this constant weight pushing down on the lower part of my body, especially the legs. Limbs feel pretty heavy, too. The "heaviness" is so bad and unsettling. If I am lying in bed, it feels like I am being pushed against the mattress and I am sinking into it. If I sit on a chair, I feel like I am sinking into the chair. I can't stand still for a long time because the heaviness gets worse. Also, every kind of activity, including the cognitive ones, make the heaviness worse. I have to "rest and pace" all the time in order to avoid relapses or feeling worse. I also experience a wide range of body paresthesia (tingling in the extremities and in the brain, stab pain in my muscles, pins and needles) and the hot flashes are unbearable. What can I do about that?

    • @cfsrecovery
      @cfsrecovery  Рік тому

      I am sorry to hear about this. 😞 Dealing with loss during recovery can be extremely challenging. It's important to allow yourself to feel your emotions and grieve in your own way. Seeking support from friends, family, or a therapist can be helpful. Over time, as you heal, your emotions may become more manageable, and you can focus on your recovery journey with a supportive network by your side. 🤗

    -pain in my chest when sleeping on my left side.
    -I stretch every day, eat twice a day, fast the rest of the time except water. ( only last 2 weeks)
    -Eating banana and bread in the morning makes me beat, 1 hour alter im already back to wanting to sleep.
    -First symptom was waking up during the night to urinate, and morning fatigue+ legg stiffness.
    Thoughts on what it could be, or something that i can do to get better:O?

      I hope you are much better now. For retaining water try something like isotonic drinks (sports drinks with electrolytes) and see if it stays better… should also help with the thirst. Speedy recovery!

      @@tommigunn16 You can measure it by heart rate - if orthostatic intolerance difference is getting smaller (=intravascular volume is increasing), if water stays in the body (measure water intake in, water intake out), it won‘t happen in a day, but by tracking it you can see the trend. I hope this helps.

    My kryptonite is going backwards and making no progress. At least i want to sit up for 30 minutes a day but that seems not possible .i tried and now my legs are shutting down and all the other muscles like 5 months ago and i do not want to start from the beginning. And it feels like thst at the Moment. I do not know whst to do,making no progress stresses me out a lot because i do not want making big progress i have no expectations beeing full recovered in onr year.but when other people can walk 400 Meters in 6 weeks i only want sitting up for 30 Minutes and at least can walk 10inutes in 5 months but that seemed impossible ,so frustrating and i do not know what to do

      What really helped me at that point was to do anything for 30 seconds and pause for 30 seconds with max 105 heartrate. Started with 10 minutes in total. Added a few minutes every 1-2 weeks.
      Good luck. You will do it.

      @@mareikesommer2436 105 is impossible for me, i have pots so always high heart rate. That was not a Problem the last few months. My legs Was not only one time shutting down allthough i went to the bathroom. It started with muscle shutdown and obviously i was so affraid two Days ago that it stressed my body out that much that now it is doing that again. I had heart Rates from 150 going to the bathroom and i also making tiny progress it is not the heart rate miguel himself had really high heart rate but was improving. So i think it only has to do with the anxiety i had 2 Days ago. But thank you for the advice ☺️

    I like when you place labels on this or that and just be in a state of gratitude and not analyzing and judging because that is a beta brainwave state and when we judge things so much then when something is not GREAT the brain says on this normal average feeling must be bad.
