      I dont know how it works but my guess is youtube gets a proceed from those who want to advertise on the platform. UA-cam then gives a cut of those proceeds to the content creator for bringing traffic to certain products. If so, then ytube is now just looking for any and all crooked toe nails to keep the money for themselves and not pay their dues. At the end of the day what has ytube done for the masses that is so productive other than maintain a name and platform? This world needs a clean slate unfortunately.

    Please clarify to people how an arterial bleed spurts versus just a bleed. I’m an Emt and many people try to make a tourniquet from cords, wires or anything when it’s not necessary on most bleeds. They mean well but can also do more harm to extremities in most cases. In a high stress MVA, the average Joe and Josephine need to know HOW to and WHEN to apply a tourniquet correctly. Pls, pls, clarify this in your episodes.

    • @tailez606
      @tailez606 2 місяці тому +1

      That's only partially true. Yes, it's possible to check it periodically, but it requires a lot of extra effort to do so. Swiveling your head more than necessary for mirror checks, speeding up/slowing down your vehicle. This applies both for cars and motorcycles. For motorcycles it's even more difficult due to all the things that one needs to keep track of for their own safety. That's why it's called a "blind" spot.
      As an example, I've been in group rides where I would sometimes not be able to see the person staggered behind me, neither through the mirror, nor through a cursory head check. It may be cause they bobbed/weaved a little in the time it took me to do those actions, or simply I didn't turn my head far enough (since I wanted to see what's coming up ahead). Fortunately I was able to inform them of this blindness and they let me know they're making sure they don't run into me as well. Obviously this might not be possible for all group rides, since you might not always have intercom available, as we did.

    • @dirty-moto

      If a vehicle has a blind spot that cannot be overcome with proper mirror adjustment, that is a defective vehicle IMO. Your side mirrors should give you full view of the side of, and behind the vehicle.

    • @aleloAT
      @aleloAT 2 місяці тому

      @@tailez606its literally something you learn at the driving school here, if you wanna overtake/change lane you look mirror, indicate, move your fucking head forward to get a better look behind the car from your mirror, look over the shoulder and then move, it literally remove all fucking "blind spots" for personal cars, hence why blindspots dont exist for them, as they can overcome without being fucking lazy - if a driver says he couldnt see you because of a "blind spot" he was too fucking lazy to look, if he says he "thought...", he didnt
      same goes for motorcyclists, use your fucking mirror, if you cant see shit with em, get actual good ones, move your fing head its all fucking laziness

      I've been riding public roads for nearly 20 years now, I've spoken to tons of riders all over the US. I can say with a high degree of confidence that for every 1 self-responsible rider out there like Dan, there are 20 "tough guy" crybabies whining about cagers, not wearing gear, drinking and riding, and riding recklessly. Usually while espousing "loud pipes save lives," an anthem which ironically begs for those cagers they think so little of to baby them on the road and treat them like they're special. Wearing safety gear saves lives, not riding 100mph+ on public roads saves lives, riding sober saves lives, but they won't do any of that, because they're actually usually just self-centered babies.

    • @johnwirk

      @@fuwafuwarowatariI agree. I ride myself. I hit high speeds out in the country but mostly just zip up to the limit or a little over. I dont smash mirrors or any of that ego rage nonsense. I mostly pretend to be a fly that no one can catch. The mototards have left such a bad taste in "cagers" mouths that they now have complete disreguard for the respectful rider who just out to ride and have cheap fun. I have had several occasions of aggression from a "cager" that forced me to flee just for being on the road. Again, I dont wheelie, I dont lane split, I dont pass in the turn lane or any of that jazz but people legitimately hate me as a rider with zero provocation.

    • @NoPastNoFate

      Bullshit. I had a woman in a car try to run me down on the freeway for lane splitting. Which is legal in California. About 3% of the population are psychopath or sociopaths. Half of them relatively low functioning. And that does not include other potentially dangerous personality disorders and psychotic breaks.
      Don’t assume you are some how a “better” rider or “better” person just because you have not had the misfortune on running into a psychopath on the road that is pissed at some perceived slight you did to them.
