Seeing him win this award for Psychodrama brought tears to my eyes because it shows people are listening and understanding he might be that UK link in the chain to connect the whole culture to international success. He one of my favorite artist.

Something about this win seems really off to me... like Annie does not look particularly happy announcing that Dave won. I feel like Slowthai was meant to have received the prize yet was quickly blacklisted from winning after his "Fuck Boris" stunt during his performance, them ultimately cutting him off and the presenter afterwards quickly assuring the public that those "were Thai's OWN views". Maybe it's just me that gets that vibe idk (Also no hate against Dave because his album was fantastic and as equally deserving as any of the artists nominated)

From what I was reading, Slowthai was the bookies favorite for the prize. I just know that I hope they all do tours here in North America. I was lucky enough to see IDLES live, and they were incredible.
