The player of the month 98 Freddie Freeman is insane. He can hit for contact and has enough power to hit homeruns.
The amount of quirks he has for a free card put him in the top 10 for first base IMO
I used the set 1 Freddie all up to season 3 his swing was just too good to ever take out, he was my highest average by far. So far no changes with this new one

99 Rickey Henderson has been my favorite card this year aside from 99 Randy. He's great against both lefties and righties, has sneakily good power, and almost never gets caught on the basepaths.
But he's very bad at defense 😢
@@ot4ku_josio he's actually been a pretty good defender for me. His arm isn't great but his speed means he can grab almost anything.

97 Shawn green is so underrated he such a good swing and I seem to always get hits with him
John Donaldson is definitely the most underrated right now in my opinion
The Matt Chapman lightning card is also underrated
I'm batting around 460. with him on all star, not the hardest difficulty to put up high batting averages but he's still insane for me!
Basically every time I use home I get a hit
99 David Wright is so underrated in real life and In The game, not many people have him because he is most people’s 3rd pick in the collection pack, but he has max contact, high clutch, power in the 100s, and diamond fielding, and with 90 speed, he is my starting shortstop, and he plays pretty well over there

People sleep on Minnie Minoso cards. Great speed, great defense, great contact, and can hit the occasional bomb. He was one of my faves in last years game

The 97 slamtana is a glitch as a switch hitter with a nice swing and can play 1st base catcher and third base
97 Team infinity Josh Bell. Switch hitter with 118 clutch and 100+ power on both sides. One of the best bench bats in the game.

97 Nicky two bags is really underrated, he is hitting 476 with 10 homeruns in 21 games on all star for me. He batted 1000 for the first four games.
That Buck O'Neil card is great BUT his 95 card boosted to 98 has the Captain on it! His Captain boosts are SICK! 97 Paul DeJong and 97 Yan Gomes are underrated as well! I am have around 90 games vs cpu in and DeJong has 59 homers and Gomes has 55.
Even tho he’s core collection Corey seager has a .385 av for me with 200+ ab most sample size being hof and legend

JOSE ALTUVE!!!! His quirks make it where he almost always gets a hit if you swing first pitch, it’s literally a cheat code plus he has the speed to steal bags. Altuve is definitely my favorite card I’ve used in mlb the show 23 so far
If you use Luis Roberts live series as a dh he is actually very good. The only weak spot is his speed which is still not bad

idk about anyone else, but will smith, the new mclanahan, and larry walker are very underrated. i rarely see them in ranked but i am so good with them.
After spending countless stubs chasing milestone Elly De La Cruz i finally pulled him while watching this, i never get anything from chase packs.
I took Mike Cameron with my free pack because I don't think I've seen anybody use him, and Holy shit his swing is unreal 😳 (would recommend)

95 patrick baily is my most underrrated card, the stats don't look like much but he gets on base and hits bombs

What’s really dumb about these old cards is, no one and I mean NO ONE was throwing 103 in the 20s. Hell, no one was throwing 100 till maybe Bob Gibson and Nolan Ryan. Like this Donaldson dude has a 4 career era over 2 years. I don’t get how he got such a good card

97 Harrison Bader is easy to use and has speed contact and power, and no on uses him

97 ct3 is pretty underrated I use most of the time
97 CT3 and 96 Michael Bush. There’s like only 200 people that have Bush to P3 but these two are dogs for my team
