      Bright Sun Films, love your videos, but there is something about your voice and the way you deliver it that makes it even better, have you ever considered or previously done voice-over work? if not your should! I think you and This is Dan Bell are the top tier in urban exploration! Keep up the good work :)

    As you stated in the video, it's really cool to see an abandoned property that isn't destroyed due to scrappers and people, but instead is being decayed by nature. That's a rare sight.

      Mechanical Dreamer very rare, I know that some historians are interested in stuff like that, as it can give a glimpse into what a worst case scenario would look like for our modern world, as there's nothing more accurate then actually having time pass

      Honestly the only reason they're doing anything about the guy being there is because they could be legally liable if he hurt himself. They should just have him sign something saying he can't sue them if he hurts himself. I mean it's not like they're using the place. That again I don't think they want anybody discovering a dead body on the island at some point either.... that's not very Disney

  • @DoomFoxofDeath

    Despite nature taking over, this is probably one of the best preserved abandoned sites you'll ever see. Thanks to being an island, its naturally protected from vandals and the only people who go there have been very respectful to the now fragile structures. Its a refreshing sight for sure after exploring so many abandoned industrial sites that kids just trash.

    • @ScientificallyStupid
      @ScientificallyStupid 3 роки тому +11

      I visited it when I was 7 in '84 and I can still remember what it was like. I love seeing these videos- it just reminds you how relentless nature really is, a few years without people and the trees are taking over, and it's relative inaccessibility keeps it preserved. Very different from abandoned malls or subway stations.

    I remember going to Walt Disney World in the late 70's and early 80's. At that point the only attractions were The Magic Kingdom, River Country, and Discovery Island. My grandfather and I would always spend 2-3 hours at Discovery Island each trip. I miss that place. I know that most of those exhibits moved to Animal Kingdom but I've always disliked that park. I worked there for a year in 1979. I know ever aspect of the island. I prepared the good for all the animals as well as collecting the trash from the bins and cleaning cages. For all the animals. It was a beautiful paradise. A dream job. But I left it because of the neglect and abuse the animals sustained by the then curator of the island. Way too many animals were dying. That wasn’t what I signed up for. So I quit.

    Wow that is super cool and impressive how after 18 years someone finally got onto the island I couldn’t imagine how hard it was to get on there.

    The cinematography is absolutely insane for a smaller UA-cam channel. Congrats!

    It's a perfect place for nature lovers. The island is so beautiful and must be kept unpolluted and free from wanton destruction

    Wild to see anything abandoned on a Disney property.
    We found a abandoned cabin in the Disney fort wilderness resort. Had to hop a huge fence to get to it.
