Aloha Bill and Lisa 🌺 Thank you for taking us along the beautiful San Francisco Bay! Yes, it’s cold, don’t forget your Jackets. The entire day was awesome! From Chinese food to custard pie and soup in a bowl, and last but not least Hot Fudge Sundae. 😋😋😋 Omg! Mahalo 🤙🏽🥰
Thanks Bill and Lisa. We will be in Bay Area in late August 2023. We will be visiting all the tourist area, Chinatown Pier 39 , Lombard Street, Golden Gate Bridge & Park.
The iconic clam chowder bread bowl, sourdough bread, and a Ghirardelli sundae! You had a good selection for your limited time in the City, the list of foods and places to see is literally endless. Thanks for an entertaining video- wishing I had a sundae at this moment!
Thanks for video, it brought back fond memories. I lived in the City for 5 years in the 90s. Friends tell me it’s not the same. I was there 6 years ago and was already dismayed. I hope things get better, but things have to change!!!
I remember sf in the 90’s. I went to UC Berkeley from 93-97 and visited sf all the time. Some areas didn’t change that much but many did. I still love Golden Gate Park and go there every time I go to sf. Every place in the 90’s was better. Was just a simpler, cleaner, more carefree era as opposed to today
Hello Bill and Lisa! How are you two? I’m 2 weeks behind watching videos so I am binge watching on my day off…been super busy with work and medical appointments for my disabled Mom. I’m so happy to see you both in the city where I was born. There is nothing like it!!!! Amazing food and culture. I’m proud to announce that I now have a planner dedicated to Travel and well mostly food…😊glad to see you both enjoying yourselves. Take care!
I visit San Francisco two years ago and I definitely visit there again in the future. I absolutely love the scenery and the food in Chinatown are the best.
Thank you for showing us your tour of San Fransico! I have not been in the city in years! I really need to go back and visit. Love all your adventures and the views from the trolley ride!
What a great trip. All the food just looked amazing. The cable cars were great but kinda scary especially when you're on the outside. Thanks for taking us along. Fabulous you two. See you next time❤
What a fun day! Thanks for the reminder that San Francisco can turn cold on a dime. I always forget to bring a jacket in case it turns cold. That egg tart looked perfect!
Just came across your channel and have subscribed. Bill and Lisa are charming and are excellent in hosting their channel. Very fun, informative, and enjoyable content!
Hi bill and Lisa! My wife becca and I love your videos! Your videos are consistently #1 most viewed according to UA-cam tv app! Keep doing what you are doing!
Looks like a fun trip. Great price on the hotel room. About 6 month s ago, a friend of mine stayed there and paid $300 for a Motel room. I went there first for a 3 day visit in 1985. I didn't see a lot Sausalito, and Muir woods. In 1992,moved to Northern California, about 3.5 hrs North of San Francisco. I got to visit many times. I've been to restaurants ,bars, the Ballet ,Museum, Alcatraz ier 39,fisherman wharf, rode the cable cars, and been to Golden Gate bridge and Golden Gate park. I still have to visit Chinatown and North Beach ,Ghirardelli Square, and have Boudin Clam chowder bowl. I really love that city, I haven't ben there since 2008. I have to return, although it's expensive.
Enjoyed this video of San Francisco! We usually visit the Ghirardelli in Vegas. Cold ice cream on a hot day? Yum! Hotel room looked nice. Stay well! Until the next one…I look forward to seeing it❤️
Hello Bill and Lisa. I love the "I was saving that for later babe". So funny. The Shu Mai and egg tart are huge. Have fun and stay safe. Peace and Blessings.
Of course i love san francisco as i was born and raised there…im now in TN…but my family is all still there so i try to get back when i can….sf will always be home to me…. I love the pineapple buns the best from the chinese bakeries…i miss all the good food sf has to offer and so diverse…you can get any food your heart desires…. The crime rate has gone up there…alot!!!…so just be careful on them streets…!!!…another cool video from you both ty❤
Wonderful to have you visit the Bay Area! I live in Orinda, across the bridge. Thank you for the great video of China town. Hope you both enjoyed the dim sum. All the best and safe travels. Ronda
Thoroughly enjoyed your quick trip to San Francisco video. I could almost taste those dishes you ate. I miss San Francisco, fog, winds and all. Guess I left my❤in San Francisco.🎶⛩️
Thanks for the memories. I lived in the Bay Area for many years and was in SF often. Last time I was there the city seemed empty. I remember the good old days.
Aloha Bill and Lisa: Thank you for taking us along via your vlog to San Francisco’s Chinatown and Fisherman’s wharf. Looks like you had a great time and a delicious one. The food at the Yee restaurant delicious and filling; the diners in the restaurant were speaking Cantonese, therefore it must have been a local favorite in Chinatown San Francisco. Boudins’ food looked yummy for that cold, and windy, evening in the Pier 39 area. I am looking forward to a journey to San Francisco soon. Looking forward to the next vlog and adventure. Much 🤙 and 🧧!
What a wonderful tour of San Francisco, I have never been there and will add this on my places to visit !! Thanks for all the great insights and places to see !! 🥰🥰
Visit the neighborhoods for the best food and experiences. They just showed the worst tourist traps, which is why the streets were empty. Visit the Sunset and Richmond neighborhoods for dim sum. Visit the mission, the Fillmore, the Richmond and sunset for the best food, the park, the beach. A real view of SF, not a chain restaurant version.
If you're ever in San Francisco during the first weekend of October, I highly recommend the free Hardly Strictly Bluegrass some festival in Golden Gate Park. Saw many memorable performances over the years.
My grand daughter loved the bread at Boudins. The clam chowder was delicious. We liked it so much we ate there twice! I’ve learned a lot about Chinese food but I’m still not sure what chashu is. Thanks for sharing your trips I really enjoy y’all and you family. Sweet folks ❤
Such a fine video. I'm medically challenged and will probably never get to travel there from Atlanta. Thank you for sharing. It lifted my spirits SUBSCRIBED 👌👍👍
@Bill & Lisa's Food and Travel Yes. Thank you. I've seen the ones in Atlanta. I retired from Delta and seen you did a review on my ole dinner spot Pit Boss BBQ. Loved it and thanks for sharing 👍👍
Nice to see you both. Looks chilly as usual by the water. The Chinese food looks good. The egg tart looks amazing. Yes lots of hills. Take breaks often. Ok seriously the ice cream Sunday is to luscious. Yum! Bill and Lisa, when you both retire will you slow down? Travel safe, be well. Love you guys❤
15:20 makes me think of the Mr. Rodger's Trolly music. I will be back in SF October 3-6 (taking the Empire Builder (Amtrak) from Chicago with roomette with my dad...bucket list). Anyways, I would've bought the canned Boudin chowder so thanks for the warning. Will bring ziplocks for cookies.
Amtrak will be an adventure you'll remember. We took the Amtrak from LA to Oakland in a small sleeper car just to try out. Was fun, but we'll stick to flying. lol
Fishermans Wharf brought back some memories when I visited there on my time off doing some Army Guard Training at Camp Parks in Dublin way back in 1997. We were lucky enough to make some new friends that had cars so we weren't confined to the base. Great video and great food and eats. Aloha!!!
Bill: You have a little bit of custard here babe (wipes side of Lisa’s mouth). Lisa: I was saving that for later babe. 😂😋❤️ LOVE you guys! I’m so happy you came back to the SF bay! I love Boudin too, their clam chowder bread bowls are so yummy! Bread on top of bread is where it’s at! 😂 Will have to try the corn and crab chowder next time we’re there! Yummm…. Ghirardelli sundaes are the perfect night cap! Enjoy your time in the Bay Area, so glad you guys made it back here! ❤ Arlene
Ohhhh yay!!!! I’m going to San Francisco this weekend and I’m taking the Bart for the first time. I’m staying very close to Chinatown. I want to try that egg tart. Yummmm. Thank you for this video.
In 2018 my wife and I traveled from the north oregon coast to San Francisco and I tried the clam chowder each time we stopped. Boudin was good, but hands down the best was at the Sea Hag in Depoe Bay oregon.
Thanx for the video. We're taking a Princess cruise later this year leaving out of San Francisco, so now we know where to grab some good eats. Safe travels.
It was great seeing you in person at the Cal at top of the escalators. I live in LV and knew that someday I would meet you in person. Keep putting out the great content! I learn so much from you both about my own city. I should have got a picture with you guys. Hopefully next time.
You are in one of the culinary capitals of the world ! Used to live in bay area. What a beautiful city. Too bad you're not staying longer to explore some more. BTW: That Eat Crab joint was the world famous DiMaggio's where Joltin Joe would actually stop by ! Regards and take care with your happy & safe adventures.👍👍👍💫💫💫💫💫
You have to eat at Scoma’s next time for excellent seafood. Restaurant is near the Wharf: 1965 Al Scoma Way. A little difficult to find, but so worth it. Also, it was less crowded at the Wharf due to an increase in crime in that area, especially towards tourists. Rental cars are often broken into for their luggage and valuables. Please don’t leave anything in your car, or it will be stolen. Have to be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Hi Bill and Lisa again great food choices. I hope you got to go back and get those cookies lol. I didn't know how fast those Cable cars go. Scary...Looked like a great trip. Take care.
Another great video❤ been there back in 1998 and I remember it being cold in june/July when we were there. Ghirardelli is always good. We always stop at the one at the Linq in Vegas😊 glad you had a great foodie adventure 😊
Ohh that jook looks yummy. I used to live on Nob Hill above Chinatown. The restaurants have changed. We go to the South Bay for our dim sum like Milpitas for Shanghai dim sum or Cantonese style dim sum. Cupertino or San Jose too!
Another Outstanding Presentation !!!
Wow, thank you!
😋😋😋 Omg! Mahalo 🤙🏽🥰

My favorite city. Come more often. Yummy
Haven’t been to SF since 2005. Hear a lot of negative lately but glad to see things in the tourist sector are still thriving.
It's not as bad as the news says it is, crime is lower that the 1970s 80s90s
If you're ever in San Francisco during the first weekend of October, I highly recommend the free Hardly Strictly Bluegrass some festival in Golden Gate Park. Saw many memorable performances over the years.

Miss visiting SF, thanks for taking me back. ❤❤❤❤ the video and all the delicious food.
You're very welcome, Elina.
Bay area local hot tip: dont leave your stuff in your rental. Car break ins are more common than the cold. Be warned
agreed. doesn't matter if it's parked off the street, in a gated garage, or even if you're still in the car, you're at risk.
Great safety tip. We didn't rent a car, but great advise for others.
Why is there so much crime in the Bay area?
Same in Hilo Hi.
Hi Bill and Lisa again great food choices. I hope you got to go back and get those cookies lol. I didn't know how fast those Cable cars go. Scary...Looked like a great trip. Take care.
Thanks Jackie!
