Sam Heughan ('Outlander') backstage at the first-of-its-kind 'Hublander: A Visit to the Highlands'

- "Outlander" fans were out in force last weekend, congregating down under in Sydney and Melbourne for Hublander: A Visit to the Highlands, a first-of-its-kind convention for the TV blockbuster, featuring an hour-long Q&A with star Sam Heughan and hilarious hour-long chats with co-stars Duncan Lacroix, John Bell and Charles Vandervaart.
Gold Derby attended the event and was the only media outlet with exclusive one-on-one access to the show's leading man backstage. "Good to see you guys, in person and not on Zoom! It's just amazing, we're having the best time," Heughan declared. "It's great to see all the fans down under and it's so nice to see the fans come from all over." I never get tired watching Sam and Cait in Outlander ❤
Will be heartbroken when OUTLANDER strikes its sets for the final time. It will be interesting to see how the writers resolve the series in light of Diana’s not yet finishing book 10.

So exciting...... but this was not the first Outlander Convention in Australia. The first one was in Melbourne in March 2020 and was called Ozlander. The Convention finished at about 5pm on the Sunday, and by 10pm all museums in Melbourne were closed due to Covid. David Berry, Ed Speleers, Graham Mctavish were meant to be there but weren't able to make it. Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin were amazing.

You seem tired Sam. I know that the promotion of the series is your work but take care of yourself. Find some time to stay alone, in your country you love so much, to rest your soul. Any advice... when you're going in Paris find some time to walk alone along Canal saint Martin, in Belleville. You can breathe the soul of Paris and this will be good for you
Could also be that Sam is suffering still from jet lag due to the time difference between the UK and Australia.
@@jgrafx okay. I can understand that. But, please, tell him to take care of himself. Sam is a very special human being, he's like no one, famous or not. Seeing his life is really special and gives us hope for the future of the world. I hope that there'll be many men like him ❤️❤️❤️❤️
