Бьерн, Дени, вы потрясающие ребята. Без вас не было бы АВВА. Ваша Музыка- это шедевры. Вы опередили историю вперёд на 100 лет. Вы и ваши девочки - неповторимые. Счастья вам
The Southern Hemisphere seemed to really love Abba, particularly South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). Still disappointed that "Thank You For The Music" did not reach #1 in South Africa. It held the #2 spot for a total of 14 weeks - prevented from reaching #1 by both Boney M's "Rivers of Babylon", which was #1 for 11 weeks, and Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street", which was #1 for 8 weeks!
That s for sure. Abba Gold is limited to have a more precise idea for their legacy. At least to combine with More Gold where some minor hits are great songs like Eagle, When all is said, The Visitors... I am the city
As I mentioned in the other video, ABBA in the USA had a lot of top 40 and a few top 20 hits as well as top tens and one number one. So the lack of US chart positions is very deceptive here
'Summer Night City' was No.1 for 2 Weeks in Sweden, not 1 Week. Their Singles Chart was Fortnightly, (every 2 Weeks), at the time. So, 'Summer Night City' was No.1 there, for 1 Fortnight = 2 Weeks. You did the calculation correctly, for 'Dancing Queen'. That was No.1 for 7 Charts in Sweden = 14 Weeks...
Proud to be Belgian hehe, even Under Attack still made it to nr3 here❤ Didnt When all is said and done / No hay a quien culpar make it to a top 10 anywhere?
@@somerandomguy_music thanks for clarifying. So glad it is part of the Voyage concert playlist though, I guess it has become a fan favourite over the years
What about these masterpieces who didn't make the top 10's Hey Hey Helen, Dum Dum Diddle, When I Kissed The Teacher, My Love My Life, Why Did It Have To Me, Happy Hawaii, People Need Love, Tropical Loveland and He Is Your Brother that alot of other bands would've given part of their anatomy to have
No one will ever be as good as ABBA.
Abba will always be my favourite band of all time

Now all these songs would be number one at the whole world.
I’m from Argentina and I love them!!
I ABBAsolutely love your videos!! Thanks for posting!

BUY ALL OF ABBA'S 8 STUDIO ALBUMS. SO MANY MASTERPIECES ON THEM, THAT YOU CAN'T FIND ON ABBA GOLD/MORE GOLD. YOU WON'T REGRET IT🤩🤩🤩🤩

Wow ABBA had the most number 1 hits in Belgium!
The Philippines is an ABBA Nation. Louder to our Grandparents out there. 😘
What about Costa Rica? They had 25 top ten hits there. Even more than in Belgium.
As I mentioned in the other video, ABBA in the USA had a lot of top 40 and a few top 20 hits as well as top tens and one number one. So the lack of US chart positions is very deceptive here
Nearly every single a #1 or a #2. You GO Belgium!!!!
It's a shame that they didn't have more top 10 hits here in the US.
I agree, I know we had a lot of different music back then, but still we should have appreciated ABBA more.
very nice
excelente
En México fueron muy famosos

32 weeks at 1 in mexico!!!
Chiquitita a great song. Spanish too.
Should be 5 weeks
Oddly, it was only No.1 for 1 Week in Spain. It was ABBA's only No.1 Hit there.
Belgium was with ABBA from Ring Ring to Under Attack.... most constistent chart success
ARGENTINA HAD AN ABBA FEVER BACK IN 1979/1980
THE BEE GEES!! THE REALLY FEVER IN ARGENTINA!!
My favorite ABBA hit is Eagle.
Proud to be Belgian hehe, even Under Attack still made it to nr3 here❤
Didnt When all is said and done / No hay a quien culpar make it to a top 10 anywhere?
No, but it was only released as a single in a few countries. It reached the US top 40.

@@somerandomguy_music also, heard Eagle on the radio here some days ago. Never knew it was only a big hit in Belgium, it is still a classic here
Under Attack such a dreadful song to end their reign. TDBYC so underrated.
@@michieldewit2420 In the Netherlands and in the German speaking countries as well. Why release such masterpiece in so limited territories ?

Well, those songs weren't released as singles, so is was impossible for those songs to chart
@@jmblacksone1076 crying shame hey
@@jmblacksone1076 People need love -Was Abba's first single, It reached 17 in Sweden.
È molto facile avere buon gusto con un soggetto come Agnetha, è tutto merito suo
All Four needs to do it
Mexico's hit parades are rare...
Take A Chance, #1 in Mexico???

Chiquitita 32 weeks #1 in Mexico???
Yes! Chiquitita Spanish Version is one of the best selling songs on Latin america
I was shocked as well.
CHIQUITITA was the song of the year in Peru, back in 1979.
@@popboy0 it is one of the biggest songs of Latinoamerica
