I discovered her music only recently and am deeply moved to find out she has passed away. I was envisioning her life while listening. I just realized the irony when she says "I can wait another year or 2..." I didn't know of her when she was alive. but I have been enamoured of her since she died. what a fabulous spirit. I truly love this person.

Lhasa has long been a favorite artist, though I was only familiar with her Spanish songs. I only discovered this performance a few nights ago. I listened to it over and over, weeping silently, uncontrollably. Her voice, the song, her delivery, the backing musicians...all sublime. At once heartbreaking and uplifting. I think I could listen to this forever.

l'âme brillante, sincère manquée. i'm fortunate that NPR shared the story of Lhasa life and talent and saddly it was at her death. I'm greatful that i have her in my life now.
I just found this artist and am so moved by her powerful, soulful voice. Then I try to find possible venue or tour dates only to discover she has been gone from us for 13 years now. So tragic but so beautiful. Her spirit lives on.
