Hi Mitchell, I had the same issue with my 572xp when working up a pipe for it. It took me a couple of attempts to get the pipe configured so the saw would run properly. More torque was my goal. Now it runs great. It looks like the way auto tune works with the exhaust scavenging these new saws could be a little sensitive to exhaust changes.
Love to try the new 562 had 3 older 562s and not one wanted to stay running dont like the older 562 because of that hopefully the new one runs better i stick with my ported 357 which is a dandy saw it .loves the cold and heat stay running all day long
I think we are alike on a lot of things bud... That saw dieing like that every now and then would drive me crazy.. I'm sure you will get it lined out... Every husky I own will set and idle till they run out of gas... I've had a couple of old saws that wouldn't idle right carb adjustments or not....
Hey Mitch, I have a totally stock 562XP Markll and it dies at idle inadvertently. I have noticed it is more prevalent when the fuel tank is below a half tank, however it has died occasionally with a full tank after 2-4 minutes of idling. Help Mr. Wizard.
She is so new that there may be some small things Husky needs to fix. Hopefully yours isn't the only one that stops like this. Doubtful if a MM will make it unstable.
Well it ran fine before muffler mod i had put several tanks thru it before i done mm so i think it has something to do with it may just need to be tuned better

Im like u love 562a dont like the issues they had they 562 mark ii ran great until i muff modded it
