Great to see your year of knitting! Love the variety and I agree that your Trinigan is gorgeous. I'm coming along with my Humulus, working on the body now. I also love my Wintergreen Headband and I agree: quick to make, warm to wear! I don't know how I missed that you made a Ranunculus. However, I have seen it so many other places and I all of a sudden realized that I might like a summery top, so I ordered some cotton/silk yarn from Hobbi to try my hand at making one and the delivery is expected today! I will re-watch your prior episode to get all of your tips and tricks! Happy knitting in 2024.
Thanks Anne. The biggest tip I can give you on the Ranunculus is to print out the pattern. I made the mistake of trying to read it off my tablet and somehow missed a section of instructions that threw me straight into the German short rows after casting on the collar. I tried both of the cast-ons they suggested and honestly can't remember which one I used in the end as I cast it on three times before getting it right. Also, it's a good idea to use stitch markers for each section of the pattern repeats in the lace section. It's a really fun pattern full of tricks and turns and I hope to make another one soon. I remember finding the sleeves taking forever on. my Humulus as I just wanted it done. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Cheers and happy knitting to you too :)
