When she was asked why did she stop her school in 2nd year hs, "Pinili ko po ang kumanta kase kapag hindi ako kumanta, hindi po ako makakapag-aral." So sad, it breaks my heart pero tingnan mo naman ngayon, very successful kahit papano. She's so blessed. How inspiring, Ms. Kat! 😭💜

kaweeJay, Her teacher made her choose which she will chose, singing or studies? She chose singing because it is her way to support her family, because she makes money on singing competitions since she was very young.😭

Napaka inspiring ng stories ni Ms. Katrina Velarde, nung una ko syang makita looking at her mukhang intimidating, mukhang maarte pero nung napanood ko tong interview with Boy Abunda nagbago ang impression ko kay Katrina at ngayon favorite ko ba sya dahil napatunayan kong napakahusay niya at very versatile at ang pinaka importante hindi siya mayabang kaya I strong believed malayo pa ang marse ating niya bilang isang singer.
