I like your hair tutorial. I have the same problem with my edges. I am 3c, 4a. Coconut oil works a little for me. It's not completely grown back, but better than it was.

You definitely have low porosity hair. Lol the water just sits on top without absorbing into your hair 😂 I got the same problem. Only effective way to have anything absorb into my hair is adding a lil heat 🤦🏾♀️
My hair used to do the same thing. If you can mist your hair with water then put a plastic cap over your head. It pretty much forces your hair to drink that water.
This came on when I accidentally clicked it in a sidebar and I watched some of it out of curiosity. I now feel contented to be a bald white guy- a ten-minute run of the hair clippers over my head and I'm ready to go anywhere for two weeks! Sheesh! .....and I thought waiting for White woman to get ready for a night out was a pain in the arse! :-)
Yes my arms hurt too...but I've decided to just do the twists at the top instead of cornrows and just smooth my sides..... my arms naturally hurt from my weight work outs..... ahhaahahahaahah..this style will last me through my weekly workouts!!! Thanks sis!!!

Use warm water, I notice it helps a lot more than cold or room temperature water ! It makes a huge difference
