@@sho829I don't know, I think making Baby level 1 basically completely skip the combat mechanics of the game just really takes the edge out of this kind of stealth villain gameplay. There's nothing you can do to his Level 1 as he's invincible, he starts the game with 4 infected civilians and he can spawn near players, plus there is no way of telling if a civilian is infected or not. His infect even goes through EF. He can camp a downed survivor by placing an infected civilian or servant on the downed survivor. Unless you have Yajirobe's passive, whoever you revive is just going to be caught by the infected, easily making them downed again Best part? Touching an infected civilian at all gives Baby charge power, Baby is literally the only raider that can speedrun getting to level 4 because of that, and there is nothing you can do about it as thats just how broken his level 1 is.
I swear someone's going to try placing infected Civs on the STM'S spawn point so no survivors can work on it This is literally a possible thing to do, it's just that no one tried to do it yet
Him being invincible doesn't matter at lv 1 because he can't fly or shoot ki blasts meaning he's easy to escape from if you see him It's incredibly hard to get outta lv 1 fast unless your lucky because everyone just gets away before you ever reach them His lv 2 isn't that broken without any infected survivors and his lv 3 is alright But still can be overwhelmed like any other raider His lv 4 is broken. Have to say I love seeing just how much fun you were having with the voicelines. Especially the "Sorry, I'm not the person you think I am" moment you pulled
I'd say a really odd sounding big buff Baby has over other raiders is that you can't do anything while he's transforming. As snipey as Goku Black is with his supers you have at least 15 to 20 seconds of free breathing room with his transformations
Literally, every cutscene interrupts anything. Rescuing a civ? Not any more. Reviving a guy on 0 seconds? Too late now! Was you about to finish the key? Well, keep holding through the cutscene... nerd! Also, getting randomly teleported when he transforms sometimes.
I genuinely do not know why they made Baby immune in Level 1. He should be punished for overextending as a Civ, and forced to actually play like a stealthy threat if he’s gonna be a fragile Civilian starting out. Seriously, is there a lore reason why he’s immune to everything at Level 1?
Technically speaking. Once he's infected someone he's nearly unkillable because so long as a part of him is in an infected person he can essentially have infinite lives. In the case here this basically ties into Survivors needing to save civilians and thus won't attack them. I guess for gameplay reasons they need to be able to let baby move around still otherwise survivors could just not rescue civilians and rush the STM making Baby unable to do anything at all to stop it.
I think they should have made level 1 weaker to compensate for his blatant immortality. You can't move while a survivor is nearby, you need them to get close before you can infect them as opposed to being able to run up to them unopposed and down them instantly, play more into the civilian impostor aspect. Alongside that, level 3 could require four servants to evolve since the cutscene shows four servants boosting Baby Vegeta, and level 4 could have a different requirement like Vegeta's level 4, require you to find and enslave a special Bulma civilian since the cutscene has her shooting Baby with a blutz wave laser. This could also allow the survivors to outright stop you from reaching level 4 if they rescue Bulma first.
The problem with requiring them to run up to you and force you to not move is that to counter that all they would have to do is completely ignore civs. From the looks of it, saving civilians isn’t mandatory. So anyone who has played against baby once would know to just ignore civs and it’s a free game
