I was watching the comeback on the third trying to guess in which moment Parker was going to destroy his racket against the wall. Well. It was against his leg.
Fastest and cleanest racket break of the season! Great tekkers
Love how he lets it out with the racquet and composes himself immediately. Also the way he breaks it is unique, u don't see the Kyrgioses of the world do it like that lol
Well a squash racquet is much easier to break though lol

Haha. True. He'd get a welcome break for a few weeks. Plus one for squash then, more diverse choices for racquet breaking
The No Let at Game Ball in the 1st was absolutely shocking. That's a stroke all day long. Parker's racket wasn't well positioned but Tamimi was directly in Parker's way. EDIT The No Let at the end of the 2nd was EVEN WORSE. Tamimi's head was perilously close to Parker's backswing. If that is a No Let, it's basically telling Parker he HAS to play those shots, even though he can't see Tamimi, which is a massive safety risk. Very very poor from the video ref.
Gotta appreciate just how awkward Tamimi is to deal with; really punishes attempts to build pressure through sublime touch at the front or a good hold and flick. Combined with his raw speed and not-so-pretty technique, he presents an absolute nightmare for the more orthodox players.
Also have to appreciate the way Parker directs his anger to inanimate objects; he's clearly simmering away throughout the match and for now it's going to be the best way for him to deal with it. He clearly respects his opponents and I'd say the majority of his frustrations with the referees at least have some grounds to them.

Terrible call overturning the safety let at 5:43. Parker had every reason to be worried the big swing he needed to take to get around the back of that ball might catch Tamimi. My guess is the ref was thrown off by the fact that he safely brought his racket down to stop the ball, but that was a very different motion than a full swing at that ball would have been.
That was never a let in my book and I've watched it a number of times in slow motion. Parker simply stitched himself up
Exactly this, and Tamimis shot was a poor/loose shot in itself! He wouldn't have scuttled around the racket of Parker if he hadn't have been worried about being hit. It's just daft as there was evidently no fishing for a stroke and players will soon end up being injured as they will attempt to hit the ball and catch their opponent with their racket or ball like we recently saw in the Ghosal match! Poor decisions at crucial times!

Has Parker been taking anger management lessons? That's the cleanest I have seen him playing when he is getting schooled.
So sad to see the crowd only appreciate a rally when the player they support wins it.
I noticed that too... if you really think about it... they should want to see Parker playing his absolute best and their boy still able to beat him... and they should applaud all of the talent...
You can hear some clapping for Parker though...which is much much better than in Egypt where a non-Egyptian gets nothing but DEAD silence whenever they win a point
Parker is really good. He easily have the level to beat these players. Just wrong shots selection. Maybe need new coach 😂

Tamimi is so fast he can afford to guess sometimes, as he can often recover. He does hit some lose and unusual shots.
Always enjoy seeing Tamimi play. He got a couple of 'home town' decisions from the video ref, but hey 🤷
The 2 no let for parker is so harsh. Especially the one at 5.30 that is dangerous play. Such biased calls

Clickbait is intentionally misleading to trick people into watching a video. The title said there was a massive comeback in the third and there was a massive comeback in the third.

@@hashkenhabib By ugly I mean that it is not technically showy or elegant in its movements. It's an awkward game for his rivals, but look what happened to Coll against him. Still, it's totally valid.
He has a unique style that I would not call ugly.
