  • Here is a short review video about the SCUBAPRO Everdry 4 Drysuit. I've been diving dry for years and was very impressed by this budget neoprene suit.

The trick to this suit is to buy it one size larger than you would normally wear. I own an XXL and it is perfect in every way. I would normally wear a large tall in a wet suit or XL if tall sizes are not available. I've never had a leak, and it is the most comfortable drysuit on the market today.
Be sure to buy rock boots for it with oversized ScubaPro jet fins. An awesome combination.
The wrist seals do leak a small amount. This guy is donning the wrists improperly which will result in damage to the wrists. A small amount of soap diluted on the inside of the wrist seals will prevent tearing.

Excellent review of this suit. Glad you mentioned some of the issues as well.

I just did two dives with this suit in Iceland, in 2 degree C water. It was my first time in a dry suit, and I wore my Lavacore midlayer and a set of thin thermals. I was certainly warm enough, and like you thought that it felt like I was wearing a 7mm wetsuit (which I have used in 8 C water). The rental suit that I had seemed to have a well-broken in zipper, so no real problem - it might be something that gets better with wear. Like you, I did get some water in the neck seal on one dive, but it was a small amount. Overall, I thought it was very comfortable, and pretty light, and at the price it might be a very attractive option for many people. I will probably see if I can test a hard type materiel just to compare it to before I buy a dry suit. But this suit was so easy to dive in that I will likelyi end up with one.

Nice review. I own the suit myself and totally agree with the zipper problem, it is just to tight to your undersuit, my buddies keep noting that it could catch it when zipping me up. I don't have the problems with the neck seal though. In all a great dry suit for those like me on a budget.

Thank you for this GREAT review! I just tried this suit on at the store and I too found that the foot seems to be a bit small and non-accommodating for people with WIDE feet! I tried on an XL which for the most part fit me perfect in the arms and torso however the legs were about two inches too long for my 5'10" height. It seems Scubapro makes suits only for very thin and tall proportioned people and forgets that some people are shorter and wider than others! Thanks to your review, I may hold off on purchasing one until I contact Scubapro and ask if they have any improvements in the works for this suit.

Its not too bad. I sadly didn't have a scale to weigh it. It felt like the same weight as my 7mm wet suit, maybe slightly less. Wish I had better info for you! :(

Nice work on the review. I'm actually looking to get one in the near future. Have you done any further dives on this suit? If so, what has been your experience with it thus far? Also, you mentioned that the booties were a bit small. What size shoe do you wear?

Unfortunately I don't own the suit, the 3 dives I did on it were my only ones. I tried to buy one of these suits for cheap, but the deal fell through. I do wear a size 10 1/2, so thats pretty big compared to the sock it comes with. I'm not a fan of socks at all, I prefer a standard fitting boot.

tye1138 I actually did some research on most of the Drysuits and decided to try the Bare Trilam Tech Dry Suit and tested it at Blue Grotto in Florida and I have to tell you it was amazing. Easy to use and my buoyancy improved by at least 20%. Thanks again for your response. Safe Diving...

I know this video is old, but what dry suit do you dive now? Have you tried their Excodry?
