Special scheme will allow automatic upgrades for B1 and B2 licence holders, says Loke

A special programme, expected to begin from Oct 1, will be introduced to allow Class B1 and B2 motorcycle licence holders to be automatically upgraded to the B category, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
At a press conference at the ministry on Friday (Aug 2), Loke emphasised that holders must meet specific conditions to ensure competency before transitioning to higher-powered bikes.

That's fair. 10 years of riding experience or at least holding the license. It's still not automatic, just need some forms and simple hours of training with certification.

When will he reduce the road tax for motorcycles above 500cc? It seems in cc wise, it is much more expensive than cars. This road tax increase was introduced non other than during Dr M time. Please undo this injustice for those having motorcycles 500cc and above.
