I'd recommend shaking off any lose dust, crumbs or hair from the bedsheet first before chucking it in. Being in a small tub washer, if there are small bits like hair or anything like that, and with the bedsheet all scrunched up inside, there's a good chance those big particles won't be able to get out. It's kinda like washing your hands with your fists closed. So yeah, shake off the bedsheet very well first before you throw it in the tub.

Extra rinse should be on, and a prewash should be selected. and high or extra high spin should be selected when washing bedding.

My partner sometimes washes like 6 sheets at once & I feel like they’re not really getting clean enough. They feel tacky. Just after a few days on the bed they like stick to your skin a little bit as if they were wet or just so saturated with skin oils & body soil that a film has developed on these..sheets that just get wet but not clean. 🤷♂️ Thoughts?
Yes, but always wash bedding with the hottest water setting your washer will go. On a heavy or extra heavy soil level. If you have a top loader, spread the bedding around the basket ( you should see the impellar). If you have a front loader, put them in one by one.
You don't have to have a lot of money to have a decent washing machine. Just take care of it and it will last a long time. I've had my machine for 22 years and it's still cleaning my clothes just fine! It has needed some small repairs a couple of times, but that was better than going out and buying a new one. You don't need anything real fancy, just the basics!

With the extra rinse, there will be 2 rinses & 2 inter spins. Both inter spins are during the rinse cycle, even the wash inter spin.
