I've only got to dive with whale sharks at the Georgia Aquarium. Lucky you! Still on my list of things to see.

That must be a big aquarium! We were lucky with them in the Philippines. In Moalboal and in Tubbataha when there were five all together but it really is just down to luck. I don’t recommend the Whaleshark Park in the Maldives though as there are just too many boats and too many snorkellers there. There’s a place called Oslob in the Philippines where it’s very well organised and you’re fairly certain to see some as the locals chum the water. Whalesharks used to go there as the local fishermen discarded their waste into the sea. Now they do it only for one or two hours a day. So the whalesharks come and then go and you can dive as well as snorkel, but it’s very shallow. We also found one in Mexico but you could only snorkel there. I think it was Holbox.

@@GerryGreenGoProMermaid It is a big aquarium! It is currently the 4th largest in the world and they have 4 whale sharks. I have GOT to get out to Indonesia and the Philippines area to dive. I have a dive buddy who just started work today at a resort in the Philippines, he is doing his dive master training. Might need to go visit!
