A big update to Destiny 2 dropped this past Tuesday, featuring some fairly fundemental changes to the PvP sandbox. There have also been some pretty big changes to the Trials of Osiris playlist and I've been anxiously waiting all week to see how they would playout. Enjoy!

Leaving this here for people to see. Bungie announced that, with the Persistence Passage, if you lose at 0 wins, you have to fully reset the card, otherwise, even if you get to 7 wins, you won't get the adept weapon.
loved persistance BUT it was bugged and did not give us loot... :(
Still is I still haven’t got my loot and won two more after so I just reset it
Ok i wondered why i get the Adept too😅 but great for bungie after changing the Passes they bring a New Bug 😂

It is a good change for me. I don't care whether I can go to the lighthouse, I just want the adept weapons. It's so cool!
It makes a lot of sense for the majority of the player base who aren’t cracked in PvP. IF the card wasn’t bugged, which it is. Bungie selling snake oil again.
I think some of these cards are bugged. On the ferocity card, when winning three and losing after that is supposed to drop you back to 3 right? Well I lost a couple of matches after 3 and then I had a flawed card, this was without me going flawless.

It said prophet adept when I first saw him but got given a trace so I think it's bugged

Update made it better and worse at the same time, at least for me. I usually had issues on game 4 and game 7 being matched way out of my and apparently my teams skill level and I could never go flawless past game 3. Usually would take ten rounds to get a round 4 win, then would win five and six easily and forever to win round 7, all non flawless mind you. Now I've gone 4 rounds straight through several times and game 5 I get beat down hard. It's happened 6 cards in a row now. Never been flawless ever. And I don't see it happening with the easy changes .

Hey i just dowloaded destiny. I love shooter pvp, the gunplay in destiny just feels amazing. I really want to play the trialsmode, but after a few hours i figured out that i have to invest a lot of time to raise that lightlevel thing. I dont think i want to invest that much time, the other modes are fun, but the fact that the trials mode is THE real pvp thing, i dont want to play only the other modes. As fun as destiny is, as a fps pvp player i think i will have to jump to an other game like warzhone, just because of the really big necessary timeinvestment.
That win protection didn't work for me. I regularly went back two 'wins' when I lost twice in a row.
I picked up passage of persistence and wasn't rewarded an adept anything at 7 wins
Oh the diamond card is only able to be completed once a week, I’ve done it like three to five times during trials 😅
I love persistence but the gun play in my option is worse because most people will run scouts and long range autos

Trials is all Scouts & Autos. SMGs and shotguns. But those Scouts are annoying af.
Persistence is broken. I played so many games and finished the card only to be given a normal trace not adept

It says get 7 wins get adept weapon. Not go flawless get adept. I completed card and turned it in and got a chest piece. It's bugged

Persistence card on its own is going to up the population of trials. I wrote it off a year ago because I didn't want to have a heart attack out of anger lol. Now I'll try again.

I went flawless in couple hours with ferocity with the prosecuter it’s broken

The queue times are lightning fast holy crap. Also they need to fix/change/or make Passage of Persistence CLEARER that you need to reset the passage every time it gets flawed)
I did the 7 wins on persistence and didnt get an adept i lost s couple tho but i guess its not givin it?
Bungie has said that if you lose before getting 2 wins its bugged and doesnt give but dont know if anyone has confirmed it

I think persistence is a good compromise with obtaining adepts. Gets more people in the playlist but also unlocks that adept for focusing

It all sounds good, but it doesn’t work as intended. Bungie screwed us again. “Not over delivering” I believe is what they called it. Let’s introduce something that’s great for the playerbase, but let’s also make sure it doesn’t work as intended.

It's a bit too good needs an aim assist nerf imo even tho it's my second favourite gun in the games lifecycle.

You don't need flawless now to get the adept so it's worth playing no matter what. However persistence is bugged atm
I keep falling at the gates because of .3s who decided to step into trials, also seems like a lot of people playing that are pretty sus this week.

I've gotten probably 1 drop every 15 wins and i only want the fkn class items for flexibility.
I'm ascend-adept 2 going up and down cause matchmaking is horrible so I should have good drop rates.

bro, persistance wont let you go flawless. If you lose one no matter if it doesnt take yo ubellow a certain threshold, you arent going flawless. You need to read the description, it literally states it perfectly. Yes you get adept weapons, but thats not the same.

I keep getting kill, even my resilience is almost at max level, and my attack damage is somehow less than opponent.
Also, does anyone else hate when people doing emote after they defeat you ?

I recd my diamond medallion from twitch last week. My account is connected. I NEVER got it from Eva. I disconnected and reconnected twice. So if I can't get it why bother with the games? 😢
trials feels like CRAP now, everyone just sitting at the back of the map with scouts and pulses. so dumb

@@brandinooo I am it’s just easier for casual players to get special ammo and end/keep up killstreaks. IMO S.A.T. Is good for ranked/comp stuff but not for casual

I play trials for the first time in a while so I would say the new trials are better now
I have never had a less fun time in trials. I am sick of Bungie gaslighting me into thinking mathlchmaking is going to be better. Me and my friend are like a 1.0 and a 1.5 and it keeps matching is against 3.0 range people and their blueberry is also a 2.0 or above and ours is a 0.7. I am really tired of them lying and not giving a shit.
The game play also just feels broken after the update. Meleee registration feels terrible, connection issues I have never even seen before. I am just legitimately angry because I love this game, but trials just keeps getting worse.
I love all the noobs complaining :)
Low population, hunter usage almost 50%, titans and locks get nerfed for less, pvp changes didn't fix anything😂
