Thanks so much for making this video Justin. I spent time in Sedona, Cottonwood, Jerome, and Prescott visiting my friends Zack and Melody. There was a real optimism and energy there that I’ll never forget. I think that Melody was happiest when she was living there. You’re a great host with just the right personality to make presentations like this; funny and sarcastic, but all in fun. You’re kind of a cross between a young Jay Leno and Fred Travolina. You made my day. Keep up the good work.
I was born in Cottonwood and my parents still live there. I just went to visit last week and even though I used to live there and I've been to Jerome and Sedona a hundred times, we hit up some of these spots after watching your video. My 9 year old watched your videos with me so she had an idea of what to expect. We stood over the Audrey shaft (yeah, that's a little freaky) and I had never even heard of it before your video. My daughter loved it! Thanks for making history and roadside attractions fun and interesting!
Great show today. I love going to restaurants and hiking in Sedona and Cottonwood,AZ. You've made me add Jerome on my list of what to do when I get back there. :)
Loved how he did this video!!! Ally is sooo cute & sweet!!! Loved the history & the humor!!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us! I loved it!!!❤️
Thanks Justin, I will be in Sedona in less than two weeks. Can't wait since your video got me more excited. I will be wearing your hat and the Tiki Randonland shirt when I make it to Seligman and Williams. First time for me in northern Az.
Hey! So when the lady at the cash register said you didn't need to charge it is because some people believe that there are energies in crystals (like healing energies and stuff it all depends on the crystal. I'm pretty sure you have a big piece of quartz which is for like purifying!) but the thing about these energies is that they don't last forever and you have to charge them yourself over time when they lose their effects and depending on what you believe you either charge them with herbs, water, sunlight or moonlight or even with your self and your mind! It all depends on what the person believes but I live in a town with a big population of witches (not all who are Wiccan I don't know much about Wiccian sorry! but I personally dabble in some divination and more secular witchcraft so I've read some stuff) So yeah! Just an interesting fact! :^) Have a great one you guys!
Loved this video! That huge yellow hotel at the top of the hill that you panned to actually used to be the town's hospital back in the day! Since mining is pretty.... deadly... the hotel is said to be very haunted!
Jerome is my favorite place out here in AZ. The yellowish office building you can across was part of the hospital which is now the Jerome Grand Hotel. Both buildings are very haunted. You need to go back again sometime. Love Jerome!!
My family actually has a connection to Jerome as my 3x great grandma was murdered in the town back in 1912. As soon as I saw you visited, I had to watch this right away! Next time you visit, you should take a quick peek at the Jerome Cemetery where the miners were buried (that's also where my grandma is buried). The graves are extremely old, it's fascinating to look at. Great video, I always love it when I see you visit Arizona!
Justin... Watch out for the Sasquatch in Sedona ... Saw one in 2003.. On the other side of the main highway through Sedona ..across the creek.. Check it out .. Lived out in Az from 94 to 2008... Awesome that you love Az... I do miss my oooooooooool west home of Hollywood prior... But I dig that you being a Cali kid like me... You love Arizona... Well played sir... Later!
When I was a teenager you could still go into a lot of the buildings and houses before they were renovated. I grew up and still live 20 minutes away down the other side of the Mountain. Cool Video, I'm so happy someone finally made a video about Jerome. Next time Check out the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome.
You both are so amazing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love Sedona Movies made in parts of Sedona ,Tombstone, the Grand Canyon , hole in the rock , Jerome ect . In Arizona They said the same in flagstaff about the vortex they said there are witches cult in the area somewhere. You wonder why there was once a huge population in town everywhere has gone down ........... scary......
There is a scenic railway I bet you would enjoy close by. Verde Canyon Railway in Clarksdale. The first class tickets and ride-alongs are pricey.Coach isn't too bad,but your still gonna spend $130.00 bucks for two tickets... :( Glad you enjoyed Jerome. I need another visit myself soon.
Loooovvvveeeee Sedona!! My family and I used to take a summer trip up there every year (or sometimes for Xmas) because my parents had a timeshare place up there so I know Sedona well!!! As well as Jerome. Jerome creeps me out tho, especially those houses that are placed hanging over the edge of the cliffs like that one house in the movie A Series of Unfortunate Events, but I do love all the quirkiness of Jerome, as well as the history. The Pink Jeep Tours are the best tours imo in Sedona. One of my favorite things to see in or around Sedona is the church with the big cross at the front of the front window overlooking the valley from a small hill. I'm not a very religious person myself so that's not what draws me to the church, but it's the fact that I can appreciate some real beautiful architecture in a beautiful place. That McDs has also always been my favorite one since I was a kid, even tho now I hate McDs and haven't eaten there for 4 almost 5 years now, but I always thought was so cool that that was the only McDs that looked like that and was actually beautiful too. Just proves that Sedona makes everything beautiful, even McDs. Great video, definitely one of my faves of yours now!
Jerome that's where Maynard James Keenan of Tool, a perfect circle and puscifer has a wine tasting room. I think he lived or lives nearby somewhere around Sedona.
When you were in Jerome, you were only 20 miles away from where I live in Prescott Valley. I subscribe to your channel and have been watching your videos for a long while now. My mother who is not really into UA-cam, really likes your videos. She says you have a great personality. She asked if you're doing any professional work. You should take a look into Prescott Arizona. Where we have the world's oldest Rodeo. It's a pretty big deal once a year. Keep up with your awesome videos.
We were just in Jerome on Monday morning. Sedona is like one big winery! We were thinking of you this afternoon when we went to Seligman. At least you got out before the snow today!
Sedona looks like a place I'd want to visit. I love the landscape and colouring. Just waiting for someone to yell something about "the wildest ride in the wilderness"....man, those mines went deep..
Love sedona! Native Phoenician and had to visit 2 weeks ago. Looks like you guys went on a good weekend, it was so crowded the week before. Hope you guys had fun!
Glad you finally made it to Jerome! It's one of my favorite places to hang out and explore. Next time in the area you should check out the Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale and pop over the mountain to Prescott.
You were so close to the Jerome Grand Hotel on the top of the hill! That’s a place you cannot miss Justin! Used to be a hospital and now it’s a hotel that I have stayed at handful of times. Each time I have witnessed something paranormal! Definitely check it out next time and you can ride in one of the oldest elevators your have prob ever seen! Great video!
Man I could see Maynard's wine shop several times in the back ground in Jerome. How cool if he would have been outside just hanging out when you walked by. As a lover of music I cant believe you didn't stop by and say hey
I'm kind of into that whole feeling energies and stuff so I think Sedona looks like a happenin' place I wanna go to! And your time in Jerome made me think to my visit to Lead, South Dakota - home of the Homestead Gold Mine! Mining towns are fascinating. And the scenery there in Jerome, Sedona is GORGEOUS!!
Next time ur there in Jerome, u should check out The Jerome Grand Hotel sitting on top the mountain. It used to be a hospital. Don’t forget to asked about the bellhop that died in the elevator shaft. So glad u enjoyed Jerome! Congrats on ur engagement!
I live in Arizona and I'm glad there's people that visit there I feel it's underappreciated because AZ has tons of fun things. Jerome is cool and you should check out the haunted things there. Check out haunted hamburger in Jerome and ghost tours it's so cool. Great stuff
That's a neat Selenite/satin spar gypsum stick! Just don't get it wet, it'll dissolve! Conventional wisdom in the crystal-woo-woo community is that different crystals pretty much are good for different things - rose quartz is for love, tiger eye is for feeling confident, clear quartz amplifies intentions - but after you wear them or carry them for a while and they do their good healing work for you, it helps to give them a little break once in a while and "charge" them by putting them outside under a full moon or in the bright sunlight, sort of like plugging your phone in the charger, or re-tuning your guitar strings after playing them in a long concert. Some people like the shop lady say that selenite doesn't need it, but I think a little extra "charging up" doesn't hurt! Obviously don't take it too seriously, after all it's a big business. Humans have always loved pretty rocks!
I totally would have stopped at Maynard's wine shop. Kind of weird that a metal/rock singer would open a wine shop in his later years but hey what ever keeps the ol' heart pumpin'!
Me and my boy love watching your vlogs he does keep randomly saying weeeird , spoopy and go home and sleep well though lol but he is 4. Love your content bro!
the “big building on top of the hill” was actually a psychiatric hospital way back when! Since it closed, they have now turned it into a hotel, which I stayed at once! It’s really cool and old fashioned, yet really creepy. I had a lot of trouble sleeping the night that I stayed...
Love Jerome you have to go during Halloween! It’s a tradition for my brother and I. The whole town get into the Halloween spirit! 👻👻👻 And you definitely need to visit Jerome Grand Hotel!
Justin, the family and I have been watching you for a long time. it all started with Disneyland. then my daughter enjoys your videos so much she just keeps following you. you just explored Jerome and thats one of our families little get a way spots we go all the time cause we live down in peoria Az which is only like 2 hrs away. you should come down my daughter would freak out to get to meet you. ps the haunted hamburger is the best..
Justin, in the Old Jerome High School Art Center , they have a great model railway. by Dave Meek. It's called Thunder Mesa and inspired by Disney. Well worth going to.
Great video Justin, next visit make sure you visit the Gold King Mine Ghost Town in Jerome also take the Verde Canyon Railroad trip in Clarkdale. This area is my backyard and there is a lot of history here
This was the first of your videos that gave me real anxiety lol That was a crazy deep mine shaft... OMG I can't believe you guys walked over it!!! I must go visit these places :) BUFFALO!
Come to Yuma. It's a lot closer to you than these towns, and it has some stuff you might be interested in, like the old prison (which later served as a high school) and the Ocean to Ocean Bridge. My mother watches your stuff too, we'd be happy to show you around.
And yes, you're right: Jerome is pretty similar to Virginia City. Besides the "stacked" streets, the buildings are all bunched together. I don't know if you saw it when you were there, but Virginia City actually has a famous spite house. It's pretty new compared to most of the buildings in town, only being constructed in the 1950s, long after the mining boom.
If your ever in Montana go to Phillipsberg it’s the oldest westest town you ever did see! Also, there’s an old copper town called anaconda near by with some pretty cool stuff as well
That mine train layout looks like it's in N gauge! It's is just the thing for small apartments like yours. You can put a lot of track down on a 4x8 plywood bord. and hide it from Alley under the bed! Believe it or not there's even a smaller model train gauge called Z gauge!
You were litteraly in my back yard. I live in Cottonwood below Jerome. Lots of history. Next time you need to go up to Copper king ghost town. Ask them to start up Big Bertha.

Haven't been to Northern AZ for over ten years. Wonderful locations to explore. Enjoy your trip.

Justin, Thanks for all your content. Great stuff.
There's a McDonald's in Lansing Michigan I think, that has turquoise arches.
Loved this video! That huge yellow hotel at the top of the hill that you panned to actually used to be the town's hospital back in the day! Since mining is pretty.... deadly... the hotel is said to be very haunted!
'The House of Joy' was once one of the best restaurants in Arizona. I love Jerome.
Jerome is my favorite place out here in AZ. The yellowish office building you can across was part of the hospital which is now the Jerome Grand Hotel. Both buildings are very haunted. You need to go back again sometime. Love Jerome!!
Should have visited Slide Rock while you were in Sedona, awesome place.
I think of all your videos this is my favorite. Well done!!!!!!!!!

Pink coyote made me instantly think of the 90's cartoon Rude dog and the dweebs. I had totally forgotten that cartoon existed up to that point.
Great places! I look forward to visiting these places. Thanks!

Hi Ally,
Very nice to see you enjoying your birthday trip.
Oh yeah Hi Justin
Jerome has been slowly sliding down Cleopatra Hill for decades due to the mines.
The Sedona Red Rock display at 4:45 looks delecious. Too bad they're rocks and not chocolate.
To 'charge' crystals, place them in rock salt.
Hol Bol Jerome is a small but awesome town I love doing the ghost tours there
hey could you be so kind as to elaborate - what kind of paranormal activity did you see?
Man I could see Maynard's wine shop several times in the back ground in Jerome. How cool if he would have been outside just hanging out when you walked by. As a lover of music I cant believe you didn't stop by and say hey

Check out the Gold King Mine and Museum next time your in Jerome, an out of the way eclectic collection of goodness. Owner is worth the visit alone.
Hey Justin sorry I'm late I have to say that the copper mine in Jerome Arizona layout reminds me of The Hive in the movie called Resident Evil.
Beautiful
I agree with Gypsy Heart 2012... check out Bisbee, Arizona when you get the chance!
Funny Stuff. lol And cool shirt.
I was wondering when you would make it to Sedona. My daughter lives there and the scenery is spectacular.
