Critiques to one of your performance or art piece are not necessarily negative...they also meant that you have gain attention from the public...as they say, negative noises are louder, but it also meant your silent positive acceptance could be even multiple-fold....

Friday is THAT song, one of iu's everlasting songs. So you already heard Nagging, Good Day, You and I, Merry Xmas in Advance, Hold My Hand, and now Friday. You missed one in Someday (2011) Friday was also a career defining point, bcs its a self written and aelf composed by IU, and deviated from her usual type of orchestral dreamy songs (good day - you and i - every end of the day - red shoes).
I wrote a similar comment on another reaction to friday but the guy featured in the song Jang Yi-jeong now works as a producer working with bts suga and he would later co-produce her song "eight"
Great reaction as always..although by 2013 iu has solo written/composed many songs on her precious albums, “friday” was her first ever self composed song to go number 1 and became a very well known hit among the public next to good day/ U&I . Also a fun little detail the actor in “friday” MV is the same one in “red shoes” and he also would later on act w IU in 2018 kdrama “my mister”
Oh I didn’t know that she composed Friday as well! That’s awesome! Also that’s a fun Easter egg, and I guess it was clear that they had chemistry even before they started the drama!
@@SylverReacts yeah her first released self composed/written song was “hold my hand” also peach, bad day & voicemail were self composed but “friday” was her first hit on charts , what’s funny in 2019 a live clip of “hold my hand” in the love poem concert went mega viral and the song climbed the charts & became a hit 10years later 😂
Friday was really popular on the time of it's release. There's so much live performances of this song and was really killing the charts during that time. And Crayon was such a bop. A new song added to my playlist.

Understanding IU's relation to the public is mind boggling recently Gallup Korea asked nationally who's the most beloved solo singer of this century 48% said IU and the rest was distributed between singers from BTS, big bang, girls generation, EXO. In every age group she was first even from 13-18 (only 50's and 60's didn't). IU has 22 all time perfect all kills (2nd has 8) most no 1 singles all time with and cumulative record of 53 weeks as number one. Most everybody loves IU even when fans of other singers or groups. Have you heard the UAENA song by IU?
is the Uaena song the one where IU did You & I and UAENA sang the whole thing? if not and it's a song actually called "UAENA" then no, I don't think we've gotten there in the discography yet

I didn't! I imagine there's some well hidden cuts in there, but that's always a cool style. I could be wrong though lol
