This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel so bad for Akira. He so desperately wants to be "normal". He loves Yuuki so much, but hates that part of himself. Internalized homophobia is real, and I can't imagine hating yourself like that. I wish everyone could just be accepted for who they are.
Tbh I feel bad for him too, but he is dragging everyone with him. Not only Yuuki, but also his ex wife. And thank god he is not having any child yet or it might be much worse. And i agree with you, self acceptance is important especially you are facing with tough society

Yes it's mostly directed to 13 yo fangirls but for older bl fans, it's simply unacceptable
Japanese BLs nowadays do much better.

This is probably one of the best shows I have seen. Even though their are only 4 eps, there are no plot holes or rushed scenes, they used the time skips perfectly, in my opinion. I wish it was longer just so I could have more but it is perfect the way it is too.

I cried my eyes out for Yuuki, he was his happiest with Akira. Akira knows that he loves Yuuki so much with his whole heart and still he was confused between what was normal to him and to everyone else. I'm so sad and yet still hopeful that Akira will see his mistake and make Yuuki smile and be happy again 💛
my heart broke for yuuki this episode, like it was so out of the blue when akira broke up with him and i can’t even imagine the pain he felt after his partner of 8 years just wanted to throw away their relationship that quick with barely an explanation 🥺🥺

Akira's the one who initiated to have a relationship. He is the one who first kiss Yuuki. Then why did he the one broke their relationship? All Yuuki did was to love him but because he wants to be normal, (and he thinks that their relationship was a mistake) he hurt Yuuki too much. Not just Yuuki but also his wife. I felt bad for the wife and for Yuuki more 😥. But fortunately, they end up together at the end.

I cried so much 😭 this serie was just so wholesome and emotional, they so beautiful in their love. I honestly, didn’t thought Akira would be the one who couldn’t accept himself instead of Yuuki (yeah, I had some doubts about him understanding this relationship) but he was the one who truly believed and fully accepted their relationship. Such a brave soul he is while Akira made me so mad and sad. Boy shouldn’t let others opinion influence him, there’s no right way to be “normal”. Just be what you feel like.

It saddened my heart watching their break-up.
I first read the manga of this series and man, its the best yaoi manga i have ever read. It maked me smile, sad, cry in just one sitting. I read it repeatedly for more that 5x now and even though i knew where the story is going i still find my self crying.. its just the best.
