The comments were disabled when this first popped up here so now that they're up I wanted to say thank you for this gem - such wonderful acting and such honest writing. Lesley's line about how intellectually she understands, but she feels hurt and used is so powerful, and Denise, as always, rends your heart with the delivery.
God Bless Denise Alexander. She slays this! I have seen this once and YT, and it disappeared. I don't know how you've come out of the blue after about 8 years and posted this, but you are a God GHRickLesley! Denise entirely slayed this whole thing. She went from La Di Da to Oh My God in 3 seconds flat!
I hope to be posting more in the near future I noticed that a lot of people have either deleted their channels or made their videos private so I’m trying to preserve them. As far as this clip a Facebook friend from General Hospital groups shared it with me. I had only ever heard the audio never the video.
@@GHRickLesley Glad to hear you will be posting more! I had seen this video once on YT about 2 years ago, and it was higher quality. That channel either got knocked off by YT or deleted their own account. I'd lean towards YT knocking it off. This person had a lot of 70s full episodes and clips, and I have no doubt it ended up in copyright hell. Thanks again for posting!
Well hello there! I hope all is well with you too! I do miss our old group. I still keep in contact with those women and to think I met them all here. Even had dinner with Tracy when I was in Boston a couple years ago
This is great; Doug Marland at his finest. Great writing, acting, directing; I wish some of the David Hamilton murder trial was available to be seen. I was in high school and I remember the d.a. finding a portion of a ripped up love letter on a light fixture in David's apartment. The portion of the letter read something like "nor Rick must ever learn of our affair" and the d.a. assumed Lesley had written it. Lesley confessed to an affair with David to save Laura. It was a brilliant story and instrumental in bringing GH from the bottom of the ratings to the top.
Unfortunately all of the David Hamilton stuff is missing! But the back story is this; David Hamilton was a college buddy of Ricks. He had an obsession with Lesley, but she wasn’t falling for any of it so he started pursuing Laura who was young and impressionable and she was going to run away with David Hamilton but then he told her he did not love her so she pushed him and he hit his head on the fireplace and died. Lesley came upon the scene and Laura was so distraught and couldn’t remember what happened. Lesley took the blame for David Hamilton‘s death. Lesley was set to go to trial and before or during the trial Laura remembered that she had pushed David but she hid the truth that she had gotten her memory back and let Lesley go to prison
Classic...great performances, still captivating after all these years...thank you thank you thank you
