The most thorough walk through of the breakdown and reassembly of the Mini GS! Thank you VERY much! We have been having so many problems with paintballs breaking during gameplay. I was told that the screws with the white plastic domes were the eyes and that all I needed to do was clean those. Wrong! Thanks to you, I dug deeper and discovered the eyes are located on a motherboard ( THAT WERE COVERED IN PAINT!) ..... Everything has now been completely cleaned. Thanks again! Awesome video! Very calm description and a thoughrow step by step.....very professional!
i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Hendrix Brysen Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Can you please make a video on how to reset the solenoid on a mini GS I have a mini GS with a red line board LED display when I turn it on and start pulling on trigger after a couple trigger pulls my board turns off😢
I managed to break one of the 8 pins that plug into the eye board. Would that cause my eyes to show no sign of life? Just wondering if I need to get a need eye board along with the new shockwave board.
I have a problem where the first shot after turning on my GS just "rolls out" of the barrel. Sometimes the very first trigger pull doesn't even fire, then the second pull rolls out, then it works fine until I turn it off again. Fresh batteries, well greased, not sure what could be the issue. I hear it's called FSDO? But no clue how to resolve it
I screwed in my tank and flipped the ASA today on my Mini GS that I bought from ANS about a year ago. Never had any problems before, but today there was a massive air leak coming from the handle, so I took the gun apart, and inspected all the O rings in the noid and the AT tube in the handle. They all look totally fine, is there anything else I should try?
For support i recommend reaching out to empire direct: www.empirepaintball.com/contact-us/ Or call into our customer service: www.ansgear.com/aboutus.asp
@ansgear can you remove the gauge from the ASA and have it still be functional? I am not a fan of the gauge here and since the axe 2.0 does not have it it seems superfluous
I physically cannot get the plate off that holds on the board. I’ve unscrewed all of the 7 screws and I have even pulled with a wrench. Any suggestions?
I purchased a empire mini GS and the velocity doesn't reach past 260 no matter how much I adjust it. I purchased it this week, and used it my first time today.. I know it's new, but when you adjust the velocity, it should adjust I believe.. May you please give me an idea?
Couple things to try: Is the battery good? Make sure the regulator is set to 200 PSI. If it's still not working, try resetting the board to factory settings, then adjust the velocity in semi-auto mode to see if that works.
I'm thinking about buying on with the Halo too and a 48/3000 tank and I'm new to paintball, so is lube different from oil or grease and would I need it for this gun? Thanks
Yes it is, what I recommend is using what comes with the marker. In this case empire grease. www.ansgear.com/Empire_Vitamin_E_Marker_Lube_1oz_p/empirevitaminemarkerlube1oz.htm
Got my mini gs from ans went about 2 weeks later tried to shoot my gun, it would not shoot I tried to have the shop owners help me and they said the don’t know what’s wrong, they think it’s something to do with my regulator
Hey ! I bought a mini GS on September (about 8-10 paintball cases since then). How often do you grease o'rings and clean the gun ? I'm all new to paintball and don't know anything about guns maintenance. Thanks for your answers !
It's recommended that you clean and grease your gun after each use. You don't absolutely have to every time, like if you go shoot a few pods in the backyard, not that big of deal. But if you got paint and dirt up in there after a hard day of playing, you'd wanna clean and grease it that day. and make sure that if you're storing it away for extended periods of time, that its all clean and dry.
I just got into paintball. I’m a noob basically. And I just bought a used Empire mini gs. The shop said i have a 2 year warranty on it if anything goes wrong. But the point is idk how often to clean it. Do I clean the mini gs before and after every use? Or how? And how would I clean it(btw I never used it yet and I go paintball 1-2 times a month)
After each day of playing, you should take it apart, and clean any paint and debris you see. then make sure the o-rings are good and lubed. you don't need to use a ton of lube, just dab a little on and smear it around so it has a nice even coating all over each o-ring.
Is it common for the grips to start to separate from the frame? Recently brought a used GS on eBay and seems like this is the only problem. Otherwise the gun airs up and shoots air with no issues and no leaks, but have not shot paint yet. Do you have a video on programming? I.E. psp ramping, full auto, tournament lock ?
It's not common, but definitely a possibility with age. Also, we don't have a video for that, but if you look in this manual here on page 7, it tells you how to do programming. www.paintballsolutions.com/05pb_solutions/pdf/manuals/empire/Empire%20Mini%20GS%20Manual%20-%20ENG.pdf

NG SoulsTV I would clean the entire gun every two months depending on how much you play. And maintenance your bolt after the your done playing for the day.
clean and relube your bolt after playing, and do a full teardown once a month. Plus you should do a full rebuild (new orings/cup seal) once a year (assuming you play once a week). I like to do a full teardown after I get back from the field, but thats just me
so u showed all the o rings but do u need to oil them or what exactly do u do cuz u mainly just took it apart but didn't say what u need to actually do
If they are in good condition, you just need to make sure they are clean and greased. If they are deteriorated, grease up some new ones and replace them.
Hey Rory, I have a question... I was playing this weekend and I noticed when I cut the air off to my marker it still held 200 psi internally, I could turn my eyes off and fire my marker to de-gas. However, my on to my question; could it be the ASA itself? Or just a simple re lube issue with the Oring, being a bad seal?
Make sure everything inside is properly lubed. if it still happens, it's not a big deal. sometimes ASA's don't bleed immediately. If it hasn't bled out before you're ready to store it away, then turn off the eyes and dry fire like you did, and you'll be fine.
I think it may be Cobalt. It's a little tough to tell cause the lighting in the video is kinda bright. If it isn't Cobalt, then it might be dust teal. You also have to keep in mind that this video is almost a year old and when we get a batch of guns back from the anodizer, they might be a slightly different color than the previous batch due to variations in the anodizing process. So the guns we have in stock now may not even match this one. Check out the ones that are close to this one in the video.
