It’s the fact that we’ll be able to reuse the locs after the take out. I appreciate this video and what you did for someone who doesn’t like the long process of getting my hair done. Thank you!
What I admire is that you’re sharing your technique, and not holding it hostage. I really appreciate that, especially for those who only can afford to DIY! This came out perfectly and I’ll be giving it a try for my bday ❤️. Sidebar: where did you purchase the crochet hooks? Amazon ?
@thespiritualbaddie thank you everyone ! I’m in Canada so the beauty supply selection isn’t as extensive but I found them on Amazon! Going to try the double hook to speed up the prep time.
Im back a year later with another comment. The thing i love about these locs is that they are easily reusable!! Wore these for a few months last year and i washed and put them back in a few weeks ago. These are my fav locs !
This is how my sister started her real locs with loc extensions. I would of never thought of doing it on fake hair, it's a really good idea and they look great ❤
this is hands down the best tutorial I have seen for DIY locs. Especially because it doesn't include meshing up your natural hair with the locking hair. LOVE IT
Girl I just wanna say this is fucking amazing, easy and creative. I can make my locs as tight and loose as I want them. No more 300 dollars for messy synthetic realistic locs
Genius!!! This style is as beautiful as you are😍. Initially, I thought this style would require several complicated, time consuming steps but after watching your video I believe this is DIY achievable🙌🏾. You’ve made the process look so easy. Thank you Queen for explaining your technique so well.
I’m gonna try this with one strand to see if I can get smaller locs .. but I want this exact look just smaller with more and you showed me how to do it girl it’s OVERRRR you hear meee!!
Haha YES you are a genius! I have been researching for the past week how to make my own natural looking faux LOCS and almost paid $300 for a class to learn the method🥴 buying a crochet hook today - THANK YOUUUUU!!!!
Yessss, I did this before with marley hair but while the locs were looking super natural, it was so hard to go in and out with the crochet to make it matted and when it did become matted, the locs were so stiff which made it haaarrrd to put my braids inside the locs with the latch hook, ugh. The hair used in the video is a much better option, the result is super fluffy, textured and curly, so cute 😍🥰
Thanks for the share, after seeing this video I wanted to do the same with Marley hair to have locs with a more kinky aspect but thanks to your testimony I know that it could be more complicated. Maybe I could try to mix these curly hair with Marley...
@@Dolokaa You're so welcome. I think mixing marley hair and the curlier hair could be a great idea. The different textures would probably create very natural and unique looking locs with less of the stiffness that marley hair alone gives 😊
This video has been such a life saver! I already prepared my locs and this seems like a quicker & easier method to install them! Thank you sooo much! It should take me 2 hours to install once I’ve braided my hair!
Yes! You are a Genius! I LOVE this style and the simple/gentle install method. Definitely want to try this. And if I’m feeling frisky, I might try to combine this and an ombré style you’ve also done with this hair in one of your other videos . . . lol. I’ll see!
Omg this is so beautiful!!!😩 Thank you so much for the tutorial! Now I just need to learn how to part my hair neatly🥴 Any chance you have a video on that as well?😅
I love you!!!! Thank you for freely sharing and not charging for the tea.... I'm so glad I follow you. Now my daughter is getting to think I'm a genius 🤣🤣
I was not searching for any video relating to this, but I am damn sure happy I did!! This is BEAUTIFUL!! I REALLY love wearing locs, but was getting tired of wearing the same ol looking ones that a lot of others wear and this style u created have the flare I've been looking for!! And yes, u are a genius lol
Ok. So yeah. I am definitely doing this. I don't want weight on my head. I have an electric crochet machine bc I was a dread head for 10 months lol. Omg. Thank you!
I REALLLy enjoyed this video. I'm ALWAY looking for quick and cost effective styles. Thanks for sharing... and quick tip for anyone ordering this hair Amazon is a rip off, look elsewhere or at your local beauty supply

You can get them from Amazon (1.0, 0.75 and 0.5). Those are the size. You’ll see different needles but the preference is yours
