    The end of the range is the plug-in hybrid version (PHEV). The PHEV system includes a 1.6-liter petrol engine in conjunction with two electric motors and a 10.5 kWh battery - a unique selling point for Allianz in the B-SUV segment. The new generation of the Mitsubishi ASX follows in the footsteps of the Outlander PHEV and the Eclipse Cross PHEV.
    The new-generation ASX will be Mitsubishi's first model to launch in Europe with a full hybrid powertrain (HEV). It combines a 1.6-liter petrol engine with two electric motors and a multi-mode automatic gearbox.
    For customers wanting more power, a 1.3-litre direct-injection turbo is paired with a mild-hybrid system that includes a belt-driven starter-generator linked to a 12V lithium-ion battery. This enables energy recovery during both deceleration and braking phases, as well as electric torque support. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT).
    The new ASX is also equipped with a whole range of driver assistance systems that ensure the highest level of safety and peace of mind. Standard on all models: Forward Collision Mitigation System with pedestrian protection, distance warning, lane departure warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, cruise control, parking sensors and reversing camera. Available on higher specification models: Blind Spot Detector, Lane Departure Warning, Speed ​​Limiter, Adaptive Cruise Control (with Stop & Go) and Auto High Beam. For the ASX versions with automatic, HEV and PHEV, the MI-PILOT (Mitsubishi Intelligent - PILOT) system is available, which combines adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane departure warning (LCA).
    The ASX is equipped with all passive safety features as standard: driver and passenger airbags front and side, two curtain airbags on each side, seat belts with pretensioners and belt force limiters, anti-whiplash headrests and ISOFix child seat anchorages. Pedestrian protection is enhanced with the standard Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM), while the hood, front bumper, headlights and lower windshield have been specially modified to reduce the likelihood of injury.
    There are also personalization options for the instrument cluster. The new ASX is available with three different instrument clusters, from the entry-level 4.2-inch analogue screen, to the configurable 7-inch digital instrument cluster, to the fully customizable 10-inch digital display that also displays navigation instructions.
    The centrally mounted Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) forms the main interface between the driver, the vehicle systems and the infotainment system. The SDA display is available in 7" landscape and 9.3" portrait format and comes standard with wireless smartphone replication (Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™). The top versions are also equipped with BOSE® Premium Audio. Higher trim levels include integrated 3D navigation and a host of personalization options, from user profiles and widgets to driving modes via the Multi-Sense system.

    Had it as a loan car for when my car was being fixed. Found it way too much of a girl car. Prefer the rugged material of the duster. Way too many gadgets. Was not a fun car to drive.
