im not trying to be disrespectful ! I know fans have a love for mixon and boyd so there is a natural bias there but they weren't performing up to par anymore I think they upgraded those areas but boyd and mixon leadership and locker room presence will be missed
I don’t think that’s disrespectful at all just the facts. Been a fan since 88’ and Mixon and Boyd are forever bengals to me wish we could have won a SB with them but I think our team is much more explosive now. Now we just need to stay healthy. Who Dey!!!!
boyd was definitely regressing. mixon was regressing a little bit, but I felt like the bengals still could have used mixon for at least this year if mixon is in a reduced roll.
Boyd may have cost us the Super Bowl.

can someone tell me what joe burrow meant by saying "eye candy"?
Well, the traditional understanding is that just as candy is delicious and your mouth loves it, there are things that your eye loves and takes in, like your mouth takes in candy.
For some people, it's art.
Looking at a giant cathedral (whether or not you're catholic, cause I'm not)
Is eye candy, because it's "wonderful"
To take in, like candy is great to take in for the mouth.

Burrow means this in a derogatory sense for opposing defenses.... you know how when you look at something wild and unusual - whether you love it (like candy, cakes or pies) or are afraid of it (think a swimming pool full of snakes) - your eyes get big and you start darting them all over because you don't know what to take in first? 🤔
That's what JB is alluding to.... he's saying that our offense is going to be so overwhelming for defenses that they won't know what's happening or who to cover until it's too late (and we've scored, multiple times🤞🏽)!
